Hotel Rajmahal — Restaurant in Mumbai

Horrible experience .....i would like to share an incidence which I saw... They was a family who ordered an panneer chilli dry.... Wen it came to them I heared them saying it was horrible. Paneer was hard , it was sour taste with hairs in that, wen they asked to replace it.. They replace it by saying they will new.. But wen it came it was same panner , but they add little spicy. ..these they confirmed with waiter , wen these they complained to the mananger , he was rude , he was covering his mistake, he doesn't have manners to speak to women, ...that means they take money but give horrible food with hairs, and manager. Who misbehaved with female...... So guys it's request if u don't wanna spoil ur health dont go.... If u want hairs with food, and want to waste money or want to make insult . Then u surely go there still unbelievable ...that manager is still there who insult girls....... He should b removed from there.... But I guess other people .doesnt care about their health and money.... See I am not saying and fake... I am writing which I have seen..reality... That manager is heighted and healthy.....height is more and respect for others is less.... He only wants money he doesn't help others... .

I don't believe it.. That manager has come back. They have not fired him... One more incident happen.... In sambhar with cockroach.. ..wen that family asked for refund.. From that manager. He denied....and misbehaved. With that family. ..wat kind of manager he is y they keep such manager ...he is highted... And other manager was short in height he was good... I guess rajamahal doesn't care about their image...... Coz of that manager that hotel will b closed... It's upon u all.....if u want waste money wanted to eat cockroach sambhar... Panner chilli with hairs.... It's upon u...

Have been ordering from this restaurant since a long time now, but since the restaurant is not listed on any of the food aggregators have to order directly through phone. While this has happened with me quite a few times earlier , i didn't react thinking that they've lot of orders to cater to.

So, when I called them today to take an order for me, the manager made the note of the food I wanted, but when I was about to ask the time within which the order would get delivered, along with a confirmation of the instructions which I'd asked for, the manager just hung the phone which annoyed me as this has happened several times where I've to call them again to re-confirm what I've ordered.

And today it happened again for which i had to inform him not to do the same as this has happened several times earlier and also I'm not getting the food for free or he's not doing any favour by taking the order. To which he replied and I quote " itna hi problem hai to order mat karo na" which was a final nail in the coffin and I'd to ask him to cancel the order as i would not want to order from a restaurant who doesn't give customers a happy experience.

Unless they improve their typical mentality of being one of the oldest in the locality and that they'll get the orders no matter how they behave, I'm sure they'll have to close down soon.

I really like the food here, but it's just the experience which I hate the most, and probably i won't order from here again (wish there was a negative rating as well on Google)

Hotel Raj Mahal, you've lost one of the oldest...

I have been eating from this restaurant for a long time and it is located at just a 5 minutes walking distance from Borivali railway station. Also, this one is a typical south Indian restaurant and hence you get south Indian food items the best here.

Now coming to the food we had ordered two plates of vegetable samosa (these guys also call it Patti samosa). The samosa is one of the finest here. It is stuffed with a sweet filling of Poha and small pieces of onion and the fried in oil as with a normal samosa. But the taste is definitely something unique. Also, the Pudina chutney that these guys serve with the samosa is simply awesome. Although a few years ago they used to stuff it with grated coconut filling which used to taste even better but maybe they started using this Poha due to cost.

Apart from this the Idli and medu vada they serve are pretty good and not to forget their Masala dosa and Mysore Masala dosa are simply delicious. All in all, a very good restaurant and you will definitely be satisfied with the taste...
