Deepak Restaurant - A Delightful Spot for Jain Food Lovers
I recently visited Deepak Restaurant at Liberty Garden in Malad West, and it proved to be a great choice for Jain cuisine enthusiasts. The restaurant offers a variety of Jain options, making it a delightful spot for those who follow this dietary preference.
The ambiance is simple yet inviting, providing a comfortable and relaxed dining experience. The staff is courteous and attentive, ensuring that your meal is enjoyable and your needs are met promptly.
The menu is extensive, and I had the opportunity to try several dishes. The idli, dosa, and medu vada were all well-prepared and delicious. The idlis were soft and fluffy, the dosas were crisp with the right amount of flavor, and the medu vadas were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
The Jain Misal was a standout, offering a flavorful and satisfying experience without the use of onions and garlic. It had a perfect blend of spices and was accompanied by freshly toasted pav. The Jain Chettinad Dosa was another highlight, with a unique and delicious filling that provided a spicy and aromatic taste.
While Deepak Restaurant excels in providing tasty Jain options, the overall experience is enhanced by its reasonable pricing, making it an excellent choice for both regular meals and special occasions.
In conclusion, Deepak Restaurant at Liberty Garden is a must-visit for anyone looking for good Jain food in Malad West. With its wide range of delicious options, attentive service, and comfortable ambiance, it deserves a solid 4-star rating. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a satisfying and...

Visited this place last week for a late lunch on the way to shopping!
Instead of lunch, which was well available, we ended up ordering Tasty Misal Pav, Delicious Aam Ras Puri and Masala Dosa. The items not available around 4pm were Tandoori dishes…like Tandoor Roti, Tandoor Biryani… i.e. Veg Biryani. This is a pure vegetarian restaurant.
The waiter who took the order was very humble and also pre-informed us about the different waiting time for all the dishes.
The water they served was from a jug filled with Tulsi (Basil) leaves... wow! a truly Indian experience! Just loved it, seeing the acceptance of the Indian values at commerical level.
From a hygiene perspective, this was a clean place and the car parking was also available on both the roads as this place abuts a v-junction and is diagonally opposite to Liberty Garden in Malad W.
The dishes arrived warm and fresh. Quantity was decent for single person the eat. The Dosa's taste was of a regular level, but the icing on the cake was the Aam Ras!
And yeah, do not try the Misal Pav... there was potato in it... I mean... who puts potato in a Misal Pav!!
The place accepts wallet payments and card payments, besides cash. The pricing is also nominal, considering the AC lobby, where we were seated.
