Landmark Residency — Hotel in Mumbai

Absolutely honest Review - Booked a room here from Agoda, comparatively cheaper from their 'book direct' prices. The room is absolutely clean & rest everything is top notch, the AC is so nice, that it's worth mentioning here. I found the staff very well behaved. I don't really know if you can see it in the photos, but the main issue i found here is the Bed, it's not a queen/king size as far as we were told, it's a double bed, adjoined together, which is very uncomfortable to sleep on, especially for a couple. Later, The manager came & apologized & mentioned that all 20/22 rooms have same beds.

Plus points - the room is absolutely clean & gorgeous, quite spacious. Food - Absolutely delicious food, they even packed the rest of the food for us, when asked too.

Most irritating thing - 1) everytime you order something on the call to the hotel, they'll say it's chargeable, i mean who's not aware when they stay, that even water is chargeable. We ordered chai 3 times, they said that, everytime. Yes we are aware. They need to stop that! 2) whenever the guests ask for towels & extra pillows, you give them, when only one towel for a couple was provided, receptionist called us & said 'sir allowed nahi hai, phir bhi humne diya aapko. 2 pillows & two towels are not allowed? Even 2 star hotel will send a pillow if guests asks. 3) they didn't stock up the sugar & tea bags in the room, which are free, we had to call twice to get them.

Good stay, absolutely one time! There's a breakfast buffet if you're interested, for 210/- per head, did not have it, but worth...

If you're thinking of staying at this hotel...DON'T DO IT.  ||||For what you pay, the overall experience and set up is not worth it.  Our experience was very poor. ||||On arrival the rooms were not as described on the booking; not enough towels, tissues, cutlery, crockery, wit tea and coffee facilities being minimal. ||||When asking for anything extra it was met with reluctance.  Service from Staff both lacking, and reception desk staff incredibly rude and confrontational.||||The fridge was broken in both our rooms and eventually after much complaining we got one sorted and the second never happened, there was always an excuse from staff.  ||||Staff have NOT been trained at all.  ||||On one of our days having asked for the room to be cleaned we returned back that evening at 10pm for nothing to have happened. After complaining yet again staff came to sort. ||||On our final night, some of our family members came over and joined us for dinner. Again service was poor, food was standard, and we were constantly being rushed. Again staff were shocking and clearly lacked training||||I will not be returning to this...

Firstly, you have to pay a premium price for the room which is not inclusive of breakfast, they charge you extra and make money. Secondly they have so pathetic rules and policies for guests and visitors. They don't allow visitors to even enter the lobby or check the rooms if booking is done for single occupancy. The staff is so illiterate and arrongant, they don't treat the guest with respect neither they are aware of any sort of humanity. They don't upfrontly tell you the hotel rules and policies and later make money by charging abruptly to the guests. The hotel manager doesn't not take any ownership of their faults. Zero in hospitality. Pathetic service, not worth the price they charge for rooms. Not recommended to stay here. Staff is not at all polite and they care to value their guests and visitors.
