The ambience is great, it's in shades of black and white whereas the lighting changes from yellow and white depending the mood of the customers. They dim the light in evening during sunset time which is like soft yellow 💛.
The service was good however when I was given cue card for reviews, the rating we're already written on it, pre-filled.
Whereas the staff was good, but they were standing right next to the door and their billing desk which was nearby to our table.
Coming on to food we ordered, Peri Peri Cheesy Doughballs: The Peri Peri Cheesy Doughballs were a delightful surprise on the menu. They offered a perfect fusion of spicy and cheesy flavours, making them an ideal appetizer or shareable snack. Here's a breakdown of the experience: • Taste: The crispy exterior was too thick to take a bite, since the following taste after breaking the dough ball, there was hardly any cheese inside, it wasn’t gooey. • The peri peri sauce added a lot of spice, wasn’t balanced beautifully because there was no richness of the cheese. • The overall flavour profile was average and unsatisfying. Portion Size: • The portion size was generous, perfect for sharing between two people. Value for Money: • Considering the taste and portion size, the Peri Peri Cheesy Doughball didn’t make me feel to spend 400+ INR on this dish which hardly has any taste, if anything it was like a fireball. I highly recommend, people who eat spicy, can only eat this, since the spice tolerance is high for this dish. Despite eating spicy food, I drank 1 glass of water a/w sips of Roselet.
Flaming Hot Veg Tempura Roll The Flaming Hot Veg Tempura Roll offered an interesting combination of flavours and textures Taste: • The tempura batter was light and airy, offering a satisfying crunch. • The guacamole inside was fresh, providing a nice textural contrast. • However, the "flaming hot" aspect was underwhelming. The advertised spice level was more of a subtle heat, barely noticeable to those with a moderate spice tolerance. Presentation: • The roll was visually appealing, with a vibrant orange colour from the "flaming" sauce. They served soy sauce along with wasabi paste and gari Let me tell you here flaming hot meaning they put crushed Cheetos and not any spices.
Mac N Cheetos The Mac N' Cheetos, a novel combination of creamy mac and cheese encased in a crunchy Cheeto shell, offers a sentimental taste of childhood for many. However, it falls short of being a truly satisfying culinary experience. • Cheesy Factor: The mac and cheese filling delivers a prominent cheese flavour, reminiscent of classic boxed mac and cheese. However, it lacks the depth and complexity of a well-crafted homemade version. • The creamy mac and cheese contrasts nicely with the crunchy shell, offering a pleasing textural experience. However, the Cheeto shell can become soggy if not eaten immediately, detracting from the overall enjoyment. However, I preferred to make the Cheetos bites spicy and then eat it, it was amazing drooling dish for me. This dish was the reason to visit this restaurant

Read moreDonna Deli in Bandra West is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience. Stepping through the doors, you're transported into a charming space with exposed brick walls, warm lighting, and vintage-inspired décor. The spaciousness and comfortable seating create a perfect ambiance for a relaxed and enjoyable meal.
Donna Deli boasts a menu that's both innovative and familiar. I started my evening with two refreshing cocktails:
Yuzu Sour: A delightful blend of yuzu sake, shochu, lemon juice, and egg white. The tartness of the yuzu was perfectly balanced by the sweetness of the sake and the frothy texture of the egg white.
Gin Gossip:A playful combination of gin, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, and cucumber. The gin's juniper character was complemented by the floral notes of the elderflower and the refreshing cucumber.
Next, I embarked on a culinary journey with three delectable dishes:
Patatas Bravas: The potatoes were cooked to perfection, achieving a satisfying balance between crispness and softness. The sauce was bursting with flavor, offering a perfect blend of spice and tang.
Gambas Ajilio: Plump, juicy prawns cooked in a sizzling garlic and chili oil. The prawns were cooked flawlessly, retaining their sweetness and succulent texture. The garlic and chili oil added a delightful kick, making this dish both flavorful and addictive.
Volcano Roll:A vibrant sushi roll filled with spicy tuna, avocado, cucumber, and tobiko, topped with crunchy tempura flakes and a drizzle of spicy mayonnaise. The contrasting textures and flavors were a true delight, making this roll a standout dish.
For the main course, I opted for the classic:
Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe: Perfectly al dente spaghetti tossed in a creamy sauce of pecorino romano cheese and black pepper. This dish was a testament to the restaurant's ability to elevate simple ingredients to extraordinary levels. The creamy sauce clung beautifully to the pasta, and the black pepper added a subtle warmth that brought the entire dish together.
Finally, I indulged in a decadent dessert:
Sticky Toffee Pudding: A warm, moist date and toffee pudding served with vanilla ice cream. This dessert was the perfect ending to a satisfying meal. The sweetness of the pudding was balanced by the richness of the toffee sauce, and the vanilla ice cream added a refreshing touch.
The service at Donna Deli was top-notch. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring our needs were met throughout the evening. The recommendations they provided were spot-on, and they were always happy to answer any questions we had about the menu.
