The Little Easy.
One cannot think well, love well or sleep well if not dined well. I guess The Little Easy strongly believed in this phrase and hence offers such an amazing dining experience. Their menu serves North India, Asian, Continental and lots of love plus happiness.
How they open doors for you? So you knock at their entrance gate and then somebody opens a secret panel looks at you and then let's you enter.
The Little Easy is based at prime location of Bandra, Linking Road.
They bring dining happiness from noon to midnight.
Also to get a little easier on your pocket, they have zomato gold too !
The interiors are immaculate. It's nothing less than a pleasure to your eyes. The seating is absolutely comfortable with easeful cozy sofas. The bar is neat. There are 3 sections. One having the sofas, one with high stools and one is what they reserve as the smoking area but that too is done up well.
I visited with my mom for dinner and after a very long time we had a joyful night. A dinner date with mom. One of the best moments was watching her enjoying her soup and desserts.
The hospitality and service I received was full of gratitude. The server who took care of my table was Suhail. He was very happy to serve us and recommended us dishes after understanding our preferences. He took great efforts to make our dining experience much more splendid and easier.
What I Drank?
SPICYCANE
The most recommended mocktail at The Little Easy. It basically has sugarcane juice mixed with spice. Something very unique from what I've always had. Must try !
What I Ate?
THE PORCINI
We began our meal with the most recommended soup. This is a creamy porcini mushroom soup served with garlic bread. The consistency was apt. The crushed black pepper is the show stopper here.
MINI NAAN BOMBS
So there are 2 varieties in this. Chicken stuffing and chilli cheese stuffing. I couldn't decide one so I asked for a platter having both so that I can taste them both. Both were scrumptious in their own way. Chilli cheese one melts in your mouth and chicken is afterall chicken. It's chicken keema stuffing. They call it explosion of taste !
CHICKEN FAJISTATIC
It's fajita seasoned chicken laid over a bed of exotic vegetables like zucchini, babycorn, peppers and broccoli. It's an alternative from fantastic to fajistatic ! Highly recommended.
PAN TOSSED PRAWN STARS
I'm not a prawn eater so my mom had this. She defined it as very buttery with prominent taste of garlic. It looked sheer butter and creamy.
PIZZA
I couldn't eat 2 pizzas so I ordered for a mixture of 2. Half-n-half. They actually don't serve half-n-half pizzas. But both were worth tasting so this was customized for me. Half was the Big Fat Greek Pizza which had all Mediterranean vegetables. To satisfy my meat craving the other half was Peri Peri Pizza. This had roasted garlic chicken with peri peri sauce. However I expected it to be a little spicy. This wasn't spicy so I suggest to add more sauce to the base. The chicken was roasted with garlic. It also had my favourite red onion topping with some gouda and mozzarella cheese.
MAINS
THE BUTTER CHICKEN BONANZA
I like it how they've addressed butter chicken using article 'the'. Butter Chicken indeed deserves that respect. Succulent chicken in a not so sweet but perfectly made gravy served with hot kulchas and topped with a layer of butter and cream. Stole my heart. Most recommended.
DESSERT
HAZELNUT MOUSSE OF GLORY
This was indeed glorious ! After tasting it I was "mmmm" omg ! The smoothness the softness and blissful taste of hazelnut was delightful to my tummy. Must must order.
PHILADELPHIA CHEESE
They call it "It's always sunny in Philadelphia cheesecake." One finest cheesecake I've ever had. Classic Philadelphia cheesecake served with berry. Dig into this sunshine and have a bright smile on your face as you take every bite. The berries are just like "berry on the cake"
I had a great time with my mom enjoying delicious food and ambiance. It's a good place to visit with your family...
Read moreWell went very easy with this place as this place makes you feel so loose, Use of wooden frames window and Partial Transparent rooftop, evening hours are the best to stay closer to window The Little Easy , Bandra a new baby in town bearly a month now is already spreading its charm with its reach of North & South Indian, Continental, Asian cuisine . THE RASSAM NICEUM [VEG] Rasam has always been a weakness for many [base of tamarind juice blended well with tomato] here they have tomato rasam doing its magic with a good hit of spices, coriander leaves for garnish. You can call it as a neat soup. This is served piping hot and is so very refreshing.
GOLDEN ONION SOUP [VEG] French onion soup is usually a blend of meat broth and onions. Here it is their take on using French onions as the base which was cooked well with herbs, a hint of garlic. Sweetness because of the caramelized onions which was used as a garnish accompanied by garlic bread
DREAMUM PAPPADUM PLATTER [VEG] “Bachpan Yaad Aah Gaya”. This is the king-sized bowl filled with goodies i.e. star, pipe, Peppy shaped the colorful and different size of frymms and yes papad served with their in-house Dip [Mayo, Mint Chutney, Spicy Tomato Chutney]. We were 5 of us and this was swiped empty within seconds.
JACKED POTATO SKINNIES [VEG] Skinned Potato paper-thin slices deep fried to perfection tossed in chaat masala and pepper powder. They give you an option between a tomato salsa and a cheese fondue as the topping. Well, we opted for the cheese fondue. the best part was the fondue did not result in the potato to be become soggy, the same was crunchy.
BITCOIN VADA PAO [VEG] Vada Pao also called the Bombay Burger, balls of potato mash, turmeric, chills, curry leave coated with the batter of gram flour and deep fried. there were these mini vadas laid over the slice of pao with mint chutney in between. Presentation close to that of a slider.
BOMBAY’S SPECIAL KHEEMA PAO [NON-VEG -MUTTON] Kheema Pao needs no introduction, minced lamb meat cooked to perfection with chopped onion and a good balance of spices used in it, the kheema was laid over the open ghee roasted pao. Overall a great one..!!
MINI NAAN BOMBS [NON VEG - CHICKEN] Flavoured Chicken Kheema + Naan + Into Small Balls = Mini Naan Bombs. Simple..? Appears to be but isn’t nailing this is a difficult task because if you tandoor it more than it might result in the bombshell to crunch and break, if under, then chewy. This was perfectly tandoored.!!
FISH & CRISP FOUNDATION [NON VEG – FISH] Rawas finger fillets in use, The fillets were batter fried accompanied with in-house tartar sauce.Crispy on the outside, soft inside. Excellent combination.
HOT WINGS [NON VEG - CHICKEN] Spicy chicken lovers this is the thing one should ask for the wings were tender soft tossed in spicy chili sauce. Fiery to the core..!!
FAJITASTIC CHICKEN [NON-VEG - CHICKEN] One Big Chicken tender fillet used with the coat of spices making its magic and sliced to strips i.e. The fajitas served on the bed of sliced vegetables [ Zucchini & Bell pepper] Presentation was simple but stands apart.
CHICKEN BAE-RYANI [NON-VEG - CHICKEN] When Biriyani is Bae ..!! Succulent pieces of boneless chicken used in it. Rice was flavor because of the mint and red chilly and an amazing blend of spices doing its magic. This was the best thing to have asked for to wind up for the evening
HAZELNUT MOUSSE OF GLORY Hazelnut mousse was again a winner. Needs No description Oh Yes..!!! It's Eggless
LEMON MERINGUE LOVE The lemon tart was bang on. It had the pungent hit of lemon in the lemon custard filling laid on shortcrust pastry torched to perfection WOW....!! Couldn't ask for more.
All the best to Team The Little Easy..!!...
Read moreBandra, a paradise for the food lover. There is no shortage of good restaurants in Bandra, and The Little Easy is one such place. With picturesque ambiance and friendly service, the place offers more than good food. On every count, this place deserves a perfect five. Be it food, drinks, service, ambiance, music; everything is just the way as you can ever think of. With outdoor seating also, this place has all the boxes ticked. They have a nice bar, and it has a beautiful collection. The bartender is quick to follow your passion for the drink. You name the drink, the way you want to have it, and the bartender will make that for you.
In drinks, we had two mocktails and two cocktails. All the four drinks were good.
Cocktails:
Beach Goth: A white rum-based cocktail, blended with coconut and vanilla cream along with orange zest. The drink also contains chocolate but since we requested bartender not to add chocolate in it so this was just a cocktail with coconut and vanilla cream. Comes in a picturesque glass, the drink was awesome. The secret behind a good drink recipe is not a perfect blend, but the proportion in which two drinks are being blended, and the bartender at this place has got those skills to make you happy.
Twisted Margarita: This comes in four different flavour, Watermelon-ginger, cranberry-peach, Mandarin-pepper, and Jaggery-ginger. I had the cranberry-peach flavoured margarita. A tequila-based cocktail with orange and lime syrup in it along with peach and cranberry syrup. The drink was refreshing and tasty.
Mocktails:
Arizona Sunset: The perfect blend of honeydew melon and pineapple juice is the essence of this drink. The mix of ginger and lime syrup gave it a refreshing touch. The drink was garnished with a mint leave. The drink was tasty and I loved it.
The Blizzard: The in-house recommendation if it is your dry day. Blend of cranberry juice along with orange juice is just perfect. Due to the presence of star anise, the drink had strong and distinct flavour which was sweet but spicy.
In appetizers, we had a few of the food items, and all were delicious. The appetizers deserve 5/5.
BBQ Insider Slider: Four sliders stuffed with caramelized onions, lettuce, and jalapeno was very delicious. The crunchy but soft sliders had roasted chicken leg with BBQ sauce in it. Served with fries, the fries were crunchy and goes well with the mayo dip. The sliders were very delicious and highly recommended.
Moroccan Macchi: Char-grilled fish with marination of Moroccan spices. It was a bit disappointing and not something that I liked. Although it is their best seller dish, I had an off day with this.
Pan Tossed Prawns Star: The best appetizer of the day. Although the quantity is less, it is yummy. Full credit to the chef, it was just superb. Prawns drenched in lemon beurre fondue and roasted garlic were the best I ever had. The prawns were delicious, and this is a highly recommended dish to try here.
Cajun Chicken Tikka: Chicken tikka marinated with Dijon mustard, a French-originated condiment, along with parmesan cheese and olive oil was too delicious to rejoice. The chicken pieces were grilled perfectly, and with a perfect margination, the dish was just great in taste. Another highly recommended appetizer.
After having delicious appetizers, I had Chicken Roast Wanted and Homeless Chicken Curry with Rice in the main course. Both of the main course dishes were delicious and deserves 5/5.
Chicken Roast Wanted: Chicken legs were marinated with garlic thyme. The flavour of the dish was awesome. The mashed potatoes and grilled zucchini were delicious. The golden and green zucchini were grilled perfectly. The mashed potatoes were also very tasty. Overall, the dish was perfect and is highly recommended.
Chicken Curry with rice: A proper homemade preparation. Feels like having the food at home. The chicken curry was tasty and with rice it goes well. The boneless pieces of chicken were cooked properly, and the mix of spices...
