Golden Chariot — Restaurant in Mumbai

GC is a Pure Veg resturant opposite andheri shoppers stop. GC was very helpful to arrange a table for 14 which included 10 adults & 4 kids on Saturday night ( 21.4.18 ) on very short notice whereas most places were either packed or couldn’t arrange seating for tis number .

Must Have from our order :- Manchow Soup, Dry Manchurian, Dry Paneer chilly Veg Mastana, Rotis over Kulcha , Malai kulfi .

Our extensive order was as follows :- Soup

1. Tomato Soup - Kids
2. Sweet Corn Soup - kids
3. Hot N Sour Soup - Very Nice
4. Manchow Soup - Super . Best among the lot
5. Cream of Veg - Decent

Starters

1. Dry Manchurian :- Superb
2. Paneer Chilly :- paneer was soft & sauces were spicy as per our request .
3. Spring Roll :- Average . Compared to the other two tis dish was a let down .

Main Course :- Indian

1. Veg Mastana :- Tis Veg was amazing .
2. Daal Makhani ( Black Daal ) :- Was bland & a let down.
3. butter tandoori Roti turned out better than the kulcha .
4. Masala Papad :- Decent Chinese Main course
5. Veg Hakka Noodles :- Mainly for the kids as a non spicy option but for adults it was quite bland
6. Triple Schezwan Rice :- Wasn’t spicy enough but overall a decent item

Desserts :-

1. Falooda :- quality & quantity decent but quite sweet for my liking .
2. Malai Kulfi :- sweetness was balanced & enjoyed tis more than the Falooda

Overall Review :- Location :- Very Nice & easily accessible Valet parking available which is a huge relief otherwise you would have to park around or in shoppers stop especially during weekends. Staffs are Very polite taste of food is good but i will refer to confirm whether they are making food in their own restaurant or not as in pandemic their kitchen is closed and making all things in radha Krishna and serving it in golden chariot 1000 rs will be avg cost here for 2 people cutleries are well managed it's a good place for small parties and banquet is also available I will give 7/10 because they were bringing food From their neighbouring restaurant Radha Krishna if they would have made it in their own kitchen Obviously i would have given 10 star because for a normal radha krishna restaurant veg Kolhapuri will cost 180 and in golden chariot it is 400 but they are ordering from radha Krishna and serving it in golden chariot and charging chariots price which is not good ........I went today only ......so i will refer that better u call them and enquire that whether they are making food in their own kitchen or ordering from outside and serving here as we get to know the taste difference of 3 star restaurant and a normal restaurant.
