Not sure if it's this branch which is in shambles or the entire organization that's systematically destroying itself with poor customer experience. It's just a matter of time people move to other efficient and customer focussed home loan players in the market. The branch employees have absolutely no value for customers time.
The loan process had some major deficiencies. From not acknowledging the original sale agreement is with them to asking customers to physically visit the branch to provide KYC aadhar document 2 months after disbursement. When asked if a self attested online document could be emailed, they behaved as if I've requested something 30 years from the future. All the delay is because they forgot to ask me when i was physically present at the branch.
Their third party loan representative who was coordinating goes on 5 days leave without giving any backup employee to coordinate, the process of loan sanction comes to a complete halt. They took 1.5 months to inform they can't give the desired loan amount.
They don't respond to emails nor receive customers calls and very smartly try to push loan disbursements to the preceding months to book their sale for the next month (probably because the've met their current months targets). They will do so by saying decision is held by credit team and other absurd reasons.
I'm stuck with this institution for a few months, post which I will ensure I transfer my loan to another bank.
As mentioned above, it's a matter of time post which people will move away from HDFC limited (hope the merger with HDFC bank brings some miraculous change in the way they operate).
I've given this feedback not only on behalf of my own experience, I've received several complaints from some of my colleagues who faced similar issues at this branch. Topping is no remorse of any sort...

On 13th Nov we had made the payment for LOD and until now they are unable to locate my Share Certificate & they term this is as "still searching". They have verbally informed me that upon searching all the possible dockets they haven't found it, but when we asked them to give it in writing then they say we are still searching. Thankfully we have all the required acknowledgment from HDFC. We have sent many mails to grievance cell and also personally visited the branch more 3 times. Most surprisingly the senior most staff is also same & for very basic Interest certificate they din"t know the procedure how & from where to download it.
