Goragandhi Juice Corner and Fast food — Restaurant in Mumbai

A sad and a disappointing experience today at Gora gandhi .....Had been there today in the afternoon for quick bite with a family memeber..Ordered a sada dosa and a veg cheese grill.Dosa was fine and the experience good till it became bitter when the veg cheese grill sandwich came up to the table.They serve it on a wooden platter type with a plate in centre .To my surprise I did notice some black small elongated looking stuff which was Rodent droppings on either side between the crevices of the wooden platter.. Wish I had taken the picture as a proof of it .. Am not against the eatery but when asked what it is.....? the order taker happen to take the plate to the pantry area and show the pantry guy.A brief conversation with the head order taker and a few other people ,quickly just changed the plate in front of my eyes and send it back to the table ..when questioned again what was it he replies its bread turned Black during preparation .A sad storied to hear when when all saw what was it..I question him again..I saw what it is, the order taker smiled but couldn't answer black nor any apology.. .Knowing what was on the platted along before and the same sandwich just served on a another plate I cancelled the order and ask for the bill.The bill had the sandwich in it..and was asked should it be parcelled.To which I denied..... I paid my bill and without saying much and left...........Being a member in the same industry its surprising to see the situation handled in such a manner. I just hope the owner comes to know about it and guide his staff how to go about in such cases..and treat its customers.... Even an apology would win a customers heart.But a denial ..........End of it.The place requires looking into it for sure . Any ways won't be ever going there again. after such...

We were actually keen on trying some really good vegetarian lunch and hence we visited this restaurant being located at a stone's throw away from Borivali railway station.

We tried their buffet lunch that they have every day and it did turn out to be amazing. The variety is good. They had this lemon coriander soup which was really nice and served hot. Coming to the appetizers they have the Chinese bhel nicely made in schezwan sauce but not too spicy. The salad was really good with freshly cut cucumbers, tomatoes, beetroots etc.

Now coming to the main course the vegetables were paneer makhni, cabbage green peas, and veg. lazeez. The paneer makhni was awesome just the perfect combination of thick gravy cooked with small cubes of paneer. They also had the Idli sweet chilly and it was one of the finest Idli chilies I have ever eaten. The dahi pakoda kadhi was really good with thick kadhi and nice pakoda. The pakoda was slightly spicier. The Dal fry was really nice and tasted very good.

Coming to the Indian Bread variety, They had Butter roti and Butter Kulcha. I tried both but liked Butter Kulcha the most. Was perfect, soft and overflowing with butter. In the sweet, they had dahi wada and gulab jamun. The Dahi Wada was nice soft wada's with nice and thick sweet dahi's made for a perfect combination. The Gulab Jamun was slightly over sweet but they were nice and hot. Lastly, the buttermilk was the best part and it was the finest I have ever. A perfect end to the buffet.

The best part was the entire buffet cost us just Rs. 200 per person which is amazingly pocket-friendly considering the variety of food and the taste. Try once and surely come back for more. Highly...

Very bad treatment to regular customer like us.. yesterday we 3 of us went for dinner and got to seat on the 6 seater place in AC room which was only available then. Waiter kept on insisting us to move to other table when it get free. Its annoying, anyways there no more customers in waiting and if that was the case we would have shifted. We infact requested the manager to allow us to sit on the big table and we would not take more than 30 mins.. but he refused and made us shift to other table when it got available. Height is when in front of us again 3 ppl only came and occupied the same spot which we vacated, but they never asked them to shift or wait. I felt like insulted at that time, only sane it is festive occasion I didn't said anything, but having seen the dual behaviour, I had to write this review. Anyways the place is pathetic with no hygiene, cockroaces and lizards all over the place.. I would ask hotel manager to treat all the customers equally and keep some cleanliness.. I also recall the pickle and salt bottle is not changed and being repeated the same .. I had to ask him to change it when j observed curry spot on the salt and pepper bottle... pathetic.. pls avoid going there if you are hygene, respect, food, people, ambiance councious. Bad very bad...
