There is a certain level of humility that is integral for any business, especially to be worn by the business owner. Tragically, thatâs not the case when it comes to the owner of this paani puri stall; who clearly is a snobbiest and most egomaniacal vendor lurking the streets of the station. He has the audacity, high handed ness and a stinking attitude - all because his stall has the automatic spice water dispenser (quite fascinating I may add) and because of such automation; perhaps, he has developed this man-made rude behavioural traits of treating customers like maggots. He has forgotten that he is neither Simon Cowell, Gordon Ramsey, Steve Jobs to act so snooty and look down on people - especially patrons who have come for the âsmart pani puri/ chaat techâ experience. There was no inclination to delight his customers who JUST merely asked for an extra blank disposable plate (since we were sharing one paani puri plate). He flatly refused multiple times as if we had asked him to donate his organs for humanityâs sake. He said he has to shell rs.5 per blank plate so he doesnât give it away. We said weâll pay extra even, however his refusal on grounds of itâs against the ârulesâ ( YES! He actually said itâs his rule and he doesnât break it). Even fight club rules seem reasonable compared to him. It was closing time, and even any considerate business owner would do anything to delight a customer for a repeat visit. This ownerâs sole agenda was to infuriate me to such an extent that I have to vent it out here. The actual product he is selling is mediocre. Prices are too high and not worth it. Plus we had to literally beg for sukha puri. He was merciless and gave us both just one sad looking puff filled with negativity and hatred. Perhaps he was expecting a gladiator-like duel amongst us as âmay the best person maim, kill and then claim the victorious Sukha puffâ. I would highly recommend this owner (or maybe the co-owner/ partner/shift manager/ auto water dispenser inventor) go and enrol in Customer Service class or watch YouTube How to videos. Even better, he can take a shift break and learn from other vendors around him how cordial, well mannered and 101 ways to treat customers as humans⌠not robots or machines like his auto dispenser. By the way, the stall, overall doesnât even meet hygiene standards. I guess it may keep evolving and itâs all part of...
Read moreFirstly, do not fall for the glorified âAutomatic Pani puri dispenserâ. The moment you see it, you will pray for a typical glove wearing bhaiya. It looks somewhat like a local water dispenser at a railway station. The taste also doesnât justify the pricey pani puri.
To top this, you have to deal with a guy who seems to have the chaggani kacchoriwala like attitude. At first I felt like he may be having a bad day, but looking at all the reviews, maybe some are lucky to be visiting the stall in his absence. Such arrogance, such rudeness may actually make you go back with a really messed up vibe. Really would not recommend having...
Read moreI know the customer is not always right but most of the 1-star comments here are. Food is really mediocre. Don't fall for the 'hygienic sensor' and good packaging. They are only marketing gimmicks. WORST thing is the trashy attitude of the owner. He has zero respect for his customers. He is rude and arrogant ONLY because of his prime location.
Flashy 'technology' will not keep up his reputation for long. He is...
