Jamnagri a vintage shop nestled amongst the busy streets of Dawa Bazaar sells some really drooling farsan from regions of Gujarat. This family run business has been successful in maintaining their culture right from 1950's. Hence they do not use onion & garlic in any of their preparations. They also do not give Pav with any of their fast food items as instructed by their ancestors. Being a Gujarati and Marwadi duo farsan and quick bites have always been dear to our hearts. But there's one thing that always comes to our mind while purchasing them, the quality of oil that shops are using as we often end up with soar throat or cough. Here at Jamnagri they use refined groundnut oil and there is no compromise on it. It is also one of the reason of their farsan being priced on a bit higher side. They do not have any other branches hence, it was imperative for us to visit this place physically if we were craving for it. But now when Mr. Dhaval Joshi took this place on Zomato and Swiggy its no more a hurdle. You can just chill at home on Sunday morning & order your favorite online. Now there are lots of things to try which I ll list it down for you guys and will also give our Recommendations. 🔻Upvas Items: •Farali Pattice (Highly Recommended) •Batata Puri (available only during Shravan) •Farali Chewdo •Puri Bhaji (Recommend) 🔻Fast Food •Samosa (Highly Recommended) •Muthiya (Highly Recommended) •Moong Daal Bhajiya (Recommended) •Batata Vada •Kachori •Patra or Alu vadi •Khatta Dhokla (Highly Recommend) •Khaman (Recommended) 🔻Farsan •Fafda (Highly Recommended) •Kachori (available in Jain) •Papdi •Ratlami Sev •Tikha Gathiya (Highly Recommend) •Vanela Gathiya (Highly Recommended) They serve their farsan with raw Papaya Salad and fried Bhavnagari Mirchi with thier special masala. If you miss this then tumhara jaana wahan waste ho gaya..!! Try it out and thank us later 😜.

If you’re in or around Mangaldas Market and craving authentic Gujarati snacks, Jamnagari Farsan Mart is a hidden gem you shouldn’t miss! They serve a delightful variety of fresh and flavorful farsan – from crispy fafda and gathiya to soft dhokla and khandvi, each item carrying a true Jamnagari touch. The shop also offers tasty treats like samosas, vadas, and dahi wada, all of which are packed with flavor. Though the shop is old and located within the bustling market (so don’t expect much ambiance), the cleanliness is well-maintained and the food quality is excellent. You might hesitate at first glance, but one bite will change your mind – the taste truly stands out. The staff is polite and helpful, always ready to guide you through their wide range of offerings. Whether you’re stocking up for a festival or grabbing a quick evening snack, this place is highly recommended for all farsan lovers!

We used to visit this place regularly a decade ago for evening snacks. However the taste is not same anymore. Their pricing is also almost double than average pricing for similar outlets. Upon that overall service is not so pleasant. Food was not fresh at all. Hygene is the biggest minus here. They won't offer water or tissue paper. Old newspaper were being used as tissue. Overall shop is still operating in 80s-90s era and refusing to adapt with modern time.

I recently had the pleasure of ordering Khaman Dhokla, Farali Pattice, and Potato Chips from Jamnagari Farsan Mart, and I must say, the quality and taste of each item were outstanding. The Khaman Dhokla was perfectly soft and flavorful, the Farali Pattice had just the right balance of texture and spices, and the Potato Chips were crispy and addictive. To top it all off, their chutneys were the perfect complement to these dishes – full of flavor and truly elevating the meal.

Beyond the food, what really impressed me was their impeccable service. The staff was prompt, friendly, and made the whole experience seamless. Jamnagari Farsan Mart is a gem for anyone who enjoys authentic, mouthwatering snacks. Highly...
