Bought a veggie burger, manchurian burger, black forest cake, pineapple cake, and a choco ball from here. Each of these items is in the INR 50-60 range. The veggie burger was lackluster; can't say much about it. It had a wilted green which is a pathetic excuse for lettuce. For the price of INR 60, it's overpriced. The manchurian burger was a huge let down. It was stale, had a weird flavor and smell. I suspect it was on the verge of going off. I threw it away. Also, this isn't the flavor of manchurian. Both cakes were overly sweet with more icing than sponge. They had a synthetic taste as if over dosed with artificial flavoring. Monginis and Merwans do a much better job than this. Choco balls were OK and I have nothing to complain about. Service was below par; servers handled food without gloves. There is no experience to talk about. I don't understand why this place is...
Read moreI am one of the oldest customer of this bakery. I always prefer eating baked snacks instead of oily vada pav or samosa. So when this bakery opened some 20yrs ago, I instantly hit this place and that time the garlic bread was my favourite thing which was just for ₹5 and was small in size. And other items priced from ₹25 I guess....
After so many years the prices have changed minimal to ₹45 for all various types of rolls and burgers. Just one thing which has inflated is the garlic bread. I don't remember when was the last time I had one. This is a pure veg bakery so that doesn't mean it didn't taste good. So all my Jain friends they have something for you too.
This bakery is very far from my home, it was just because my school is near to this bakery I discovered it. And I will keep visiting this bakery till the end of time. Wishing luck to everyone at...
Read moreThe thing about bakery products is that, they are a neccessity. Every household consumes a lot of (Maida) rectified flour, in either sweet or salty creations with condiments like Jeera(cumin) added to it. At Mothers Bakery you have Maida in the form of Pau, Bread, NanKhatai, Badaam cookies, Khaari etc. Its loaded with Varieties, reasonably good taste and reasonably priced. Serves Jain items. Conveniently located next to a Paan shop, Medical store, stationery store, Bus stop and a Jain Temple. You are bound to pick up a bread or Khaari or one of their cafe items like Burgers, pizzas, Veg hot dogs, and yes, giant size veg lollipops. Their cakes are delicious too. Worth visiting. Just hope ,the staff was more courteous and more friendly. Some of them serve you like roadside...
