Oceanic Restaurant — Restaurant in Mumbai

Oceanic is located on top of Adarsh Resturant, so you will have to take the steps at the side to reach on top.

Let me start by saying the service here is 5 star standard. Thanks to Lal for being such a gem along with the rest of the stewards who truly set such standards with great Hospitality.

So what did we order :

▪GREEN PEPPER CRAB SOUP

This particular soup is green in colour thanks to the Fresh Corriander leaves. I really love this crab soup. Besides the buttery flavor of the Crab Pieces it’s perfect combination of Chopped Spring Onion, Capsicum, Corriander leaves, Stir Fried, Cooked in Seafood Stock Perfection. DELICIOUS

▪ROAST LAMB CHILLY

Succulent lamb cooked with perfection, spicy but deliciously made with garlic and mixed sauce that is worth every bite. This is one spicy dish but Delicious.

▪ SEAFOOD DUM BIRYANI

We heard of mixed fried rice, mixed noodles, mixed this and that but A Mixed Seafood Biryani was a new one to us..

Prawns, Crab & Pomfret cooked in whole spices of Masala along with basmati rice & flavoured fresh mint leaves. The taste of this biryani is a class apart simply superb. Aromatic delicious Seafood Dum biryani is one biryani that tastes & smells like heaven. Worth It!!!

▪BOONDI RAITA

You need to order the Raita separately when you order the biryani. Yogurt, mild spices & boondi make this delicious accompaniment. Fresh Yogurt is perfectly spiced & crisp fried balls was added to it. It was delicious.

The Experience here was more than we could have expected compared to its food and the service.. Worth everything.. will...

I was down for a day trip to Mumbai and chanced upon Oceanic at Chembur. A Mangalorean restaurant, so its very difficult to go wrong!

I live at Pune and avoid seafood there. But Mumbai is home to the freshest and the best - and so I ordered Prawn Gassi and Neer Dosa and a chilled Fresh Lime Soda..

Prior to settling for this, I had asked the server if I should also order a starter. He advised me against as what I was ordering was enough. Mighty honest of him!

Well, the Prawn Gassi was simply divine. And when combined with Neer Dosa it took the entire combo to a fantastically heavenly level..

The quantity was outstanding and I had to order another round of Neer Dosas and yet another Fresh Lime Soda to polish off the Prawn Gassi!

The decor was simple and the restaurant was super clean 👌 Mood was super and chilled by the AC! Staff were courteous and helpful...

I hardly visit Mumbai nowadays, but next trip I will again choose to come here to try out newer dishes from their mouth-watering menu.

Rs. 1050/- was bill. And that was very well...

I generally never write reviews but man this one should be known to people who would think of visiting this hell of a place. The most pathetic resturant you will ever ever visit in Chembur Mumbai. Food is bad, service is the worst thing there is no service you literally have to visit the kitchen to check if it's even being made because you have been waiting for a long while. There are many good restuarants in Chembur Sunny, Lamba, grilled house etc DO NOT VISIT THIS ONE ITS AS WORSE AS...
