A beautifully done, chic, elegant ambience that makes you forget the awkward narrow lane entrance to this place. Visited this place for a buffer lunch.
Buffet menu included the following:
Tomato Basil Soup, Chicken Manchow Soup, Paneer Tikka, Corn cheese balls, lasooni murgh tikka, crab cakes(desi style)
Steamed fish in lemon butter garlic sauce, Dal makhani, paneer patiala, Kashmiri murgh, Sabz Jaipuri, rice, assorted roti, hakka noodles, vegetables in hot garlic sauce, Chicken dum biryani, sea food Paella
Desserts: malai sandwich, malpua, rice pudding, kokum pastry, chocolate coated almonds and dates, mango tart and blueberry cheesecake.
Beverages included: Mandarin refresher juice, mimosas in apple, mango and cranberry flavors.
Others: cold cuts, cold sandwiches, salads, papad and condiments
Approx cost for Two adults and a kid: ₹5000
Taste wise it was okay.. No wow factor.. Most of the food was barely warm instead of hot. Quality of the good wasn't up to Taj level.. Rice pudding tasted like milk gone bad.. Malai sandwich was not even local sweet shop level..
The starters were quite dry. To be honest I have had better food experience in local Barbecue Nation and Global Fusion. For the cost we paid, we definitely had more expectations from the lunch at Taj - Ginger.
