Visited The Outlet Many Times… and as all know it’s lot more then their Thalis… some personal recommendations here from me which surely can give a try and won’t regret….
They Have been The TIMES FOOD AWARD WINNER as well.
The Outlet is in prime location in Zaveri bazaar Both Ac/Non -Ac Seatings available…. Quite spacious and a decent interior… We went here for lunch on a weekday…
Their outlet speciality is the daal bati here but it’s not that up to the mark as I had expected it on my 1st visit here. So I won’t Recommend It here. But there are some good dishes here which are worth the try.
Coming To What We Ordered….
Chaas Bottle :- 5/5 No words for it 😍😍
STARTERS :-
Khichiya Papad Churi :- 5/5 Quantity Of the dish perfect for 2 people. Very crunchy…not too spicy as well. Really tasted good when eaten with daal tadka and rice in main course.
Bhindi Fry :- 4.5/5 Really loved it mini size cut bhindi deep fried….perfect blend of spice. Surely a must have dish here. Even if deep fried it wasn’t oily which usually it turns out to be.
MAIN COURSE :-
Paneer Chatpata :- 5/5 ( Highly Recommended ) In Love with the dish….It was exactly as the name suggests….CHATPATA…!! Quantity really enough for 2 people. Worth the money.. Ate It with their famous butter chapati. Still not over the taste 😍😍
Double Daal Tadka & Rice :- 4.5/5 Daal tadka lovers a must have here.
DESSERTS :-
Moong Daal Ka Halwa :- 5/5 ( A Must Have Here) Visiting Here and not having their moong daal Halwa is like your visit here is a waste…. SURELY SHOULDNT MISS OUT THIS DISH… MADE IN PURE GHEE…. not over sweet perfect sweetness… served hot and nicely garnished. DROOLWORTHY DISH.
Overall a very nice time spent here. Food was amazing. Service is quick. Staff is also very much attentive and helpful.

Ruined dinner with mediocre, barely standard food which was crazy overpriced for the value they offer and the portions were small too. The Dal fry was basic and very watery, vegetable was okay, jeera rice was plain they seemed to have forgotten the salt, there was something off about their Papad Churi, Rotis were the only thing on point. I've had better food on no name dhabas dotting the mumbai gujrat rajasthan route.
I recently had food at a Bhagat tarachand at lower Parel and that place set standards way too high for this outlet to achieve.
Yes I am writing a review for the correct outlet I made sure I did not write something for a Bhagat tarachand that did not deserve it, while doing so I am flabbergasted as to why I did not go through reviews beforehand cause recent review were very low for an outlet that is based on a legacy of legendary person who introduced foodgasm to the locals.
Yes I ate food at this outlet , yes I complained, I paid the entire bill didn't ask for any discount or concession as this was the last time they waste my time & money so might as well make it...
Read moreDefinitely one of the most well maintained and neat restaurants in the Zaveri Bazaar locality of Mumbai. Their every recipe is made very differently as compared to a conventional restaurant. I ordered Paneer Kolhapuri, 4 chapatis and 1 Gulab Jamun for me and my dad. The Paneer Kolhapuri was having to much addition of Vegetables like tomatoes, chillies, etc which weren't well mashed. The chapatis were nice and the Gulab Jamun was class-apart. I would recommend this restaurant to the one who likes to try out different variations of the same food items . Also the price is a little exorbitant here. I would recommend the normal public to visit the Bhagat Tarachand in front...
