We were looking for a farewell party, and since the ratings for SAQI were good, plus the 30 percent discount on Zomato, we decided to visit the place for Dinner post-table bookings.
The restaurant is just 5-minute walk from Khar Railway station in the west. It has two sections; the outer is the smoking zone, and the inner is air-conditioned with music. We began by ordering some paneer chilly dry for the starters. And by far, it was the best one I have had. The paneer was soft and delicious. The combination of vinegar, sauce, and some burnt garlic and cabbage strips made the whole dish taste amazing. For the mocktails, we went ahead with sweetheart, a combination of pomegranate and pineapple juice with some salt and spice on the glass rim. The pink lemonade was a lemonade mixed with some watermelon juice to make a unique blend. Both tasted delicious. We also ordered the pineapple spritzer, which was juice and soda mixed with some ice. It was refreshing to say.
Next, we ordered pav bhaji tartlets, and this is where the taste went down. Tartlets were small cup-shaped biscuits filled with pav bhaji and topped with cheese. But the filling was different from how a pav bhaji should taste. It was bland, and we had to force ourselves to have it as the taste was horrible. We then ordered the paneer tikka pizza, which had almost no paneer. The base of the pizza was hard, which made it brittle. Also, the cheese used had a different taste, and we did not like the pizza.
Finally, to end the food, we ordered a Sundae, which was better being a combination of Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry scoops of ice cream. Also, the music was so loud by nighttime that it would have almost ripped off our eardrums. The whole table was vibrating, and it was deafening. We literally had to get the pizza parcel and run from the place. And when the place gets crowded, the service becomes exceptionally sluggish.
Thus, except for the mocktails and dessert, the food could have been better, and we did not like it. Many dishes definitely need improvement. Plus, the music must be controlled as it blares at night. Would not...
Read moreBrief idea of the restaurant : We had booked our table through zomato, It has wallet parking, it's a suitable diner and bar attached. The ambience is quite boho-ish if you see outer part seating area, whereas the inside seating consists of chair with an antique round shape back rest. There is sofa seating along with the chairs, They have used plants too, it enhances ambience when the light contradicts it. There is beautiful arrangement of seating for every group of people. The service is admirable. Hands down they did a great job, to serve with the parking as there were two cars. Everytime they would open the door of the manager sees that there's no gaurd on the door with a big smile, chivalry 👏 Coming on to food : We ordered 1.Cajun baby potato 7/10 ⭐ It had veggies, bell peppers, corn, creamy sauce. Somewhat cheese, Potatoes were in wedges shape, some were dipped in sauce some wasn't 2.Udta Punjab (Non-veg) 10/10⭐ It came hanged in skewer 🍢, the wood plate contained 2 tandoori roti, onion rings, lemon slices, two dips attached to the skewers was mint-coriander green chutney tasted 😋🤤, dill leaves mix. Read moreThis is a new place opened in Khar West, it’s really close to the station. I visited here on a Sunday for a brunch date with my husband, and let me tell you I had a great experience here. One of the finest places I have visited for this amazing brunch they offer. They have a live singing with unlimited alcohol and a set menu for brunch only at ₹2000/- We had a really good time, enjoying the music and the delicious food. I was super impressed with their excellent service and hospitality, Mr. Dev was really cordial and helpful. The portion size of food is literally more than enough, I could barely even complete my mains, they have multiple options in their brunch menu, with leaving you confused on what to eat and what not. I loved their avocado toast, ceaser salad, the samosas, Pasta and the steak ! It was all great picks. Their cocktail and straight drink menu is also vast and worth the price. A perfect place to spend ur Sunday brunch with your loved ones over some great food and lovely...
