3 Wise Monkeys — Restaurant in Mumbai

That night was epic ! Well , if you are searching for a party place , then your search has comes to an end . I went to this place on Saturday night , this place gives you the vibes and make feel you special .

“3 WISE MONKEYS “ is the place that gives you vibes to party harder . this place has unique menu with wide range of variety . Thai and Italian dishes with some unique combination of cocktails . It is nearby Khar Road West Station .

The Ambience is typical retro theme based ambience. 3 monkeys posters on the wall , Although the place is huge , So that you can come up with around 8-9 people . Also they have Cristiano Ronaldo and messy postures on the wall which looks amazing .

This place has Sports screening and stand up acts and live bands which is amazing . Service was excellent , as the staff was prompt with us . Especially Mr. Bharat and his partner Mr. Satish has done fantastic job .

WHAT I HAD

COCKTAILS

1)GIN BOMB - it has nice Raspberry flavour along with gin . The egg white impact was perfect , the raspberry and gin combination went well , not a strong cocktail but worth to have it .

2)MONKEY BOOZE - As the name suggests , mixture of 3 things comes together with pineapple and orange juice . Old monk , Bacardi , Caption Morgan with pineapple juice. A bit strong cocktail , little bit sweet taste with classic presentation.

3)FLAMING TOWER - The Signature Cocktail is here . This was the one of unique cocktail I had , the presentation is at another level . A flat opener with wine glass , along with 2 glasses on the top . It is mixture of kahlua, baileys , blue curacao. It tasted amazing , in every sip you will have chilled flavour . But once you swallow it , it has the hot taste , twist in it . Highly recommended this cocktail .

STARTERS

1)JACK DANIELS WINGS - Whiskey flavour chicken wings tasted delicious. The chicken was pretty good , 6 pieces were served along with jack Daniels flavour .

2)SPARROW’S NEST - loved it ! The presentation was wonderful. Fried noodles surrounded on the bowl . The Chicken Pieces were delicious. It had nice flavour , as the name suggests sparrow’s nest was perfect .

3)PROTEIN OVERDOSE CHICKEN SALAD - Healthy salad along with sufficient quantity of chicken . Broccoli , egg white , long chicken pieces tasted pretty good . Those who are health conscious , this is a perfect dish .

MAIN COURSE

1)CHICKEN TORNADO CHEESE BURST - Medium size pizza was seed delicious with cheesy flavour along with chicken pieces . It was topped with bell pepper . The quantity of cheese was average , it could have been more so that you will get the that cheese burst taste . This was also good , a good quantity was served .

DESSERTS

1)SIZZLING BROWNIE WITH ICE CREAM - Most of the people prefer this dessert . the brownie was soft , it had nice texture . The ice cream was sufficient. It was the best way to end a happy meal .

This place is now added to my bucket list . From food to service everything was perfect . No improvements needed in cocktails. There are amazing , food was also good . Over all a place to party harder.

OK, So when I entered here years back....I actually thought that I was drunk even before my first drop of alcohol. I mean....you enter and see two pool tables right on top of the outlet. Haila ! After confirming that that ACTUALLY was the case, I went in confidently....when I thought that I was seeing two now...."los gemelos" ....or "the twins" in Spanish...."brothers from different mothers"....that's what Mr. Andres and Mr. Suraj would look like, to you.....both have a similar gait and hair do....and ensure that even their funky hair styles are in match with each other.....heard that customers have given the tips of one to the other, mistaking them to be ,well, the OTHER guy.....and I won't blame them. Being a regular, I myself am quite a few times confused about their ID's.....until....they revealed the best way to differentiate between them....very "hairy" revelations ;-)

One of the best places in Khar to hang out for the youngsters and for the young at heart......this place is a fav. among all. Be it their constantly evolving avtars, varied kindsa gigs (their karaoke nights are strictly avoidable, though), drinks or food menu.....these guys have always been at the helm....and, in my humble opinion, extremely underestimated.

You have ample space.....if you are coming alone, with groups or whatever....don't forget to be served excellently by "los gemelos" or Mr. Sachin (unmistakably recognized by his ever-rolled up sleeves) or the drinks by the ever-silent Mr. Ning Khan.....always behind the bar thinking about which drink should be given next to the demanding patrons here.....but saun rab di ! get one complete sentence out of this gentle giant in English or ANY language and I'll bow my head to you. Short of turning into a damsel in distress for him, tried every trick to get him to speak to me.....but then, may be the "fault doesn't lie in our stars" ....but me ;-)

Some amazing deals on drinks pre-8:30 PM.....especially nowadays due to the IPL season going on. The reviewer's favorites - Orange Bourbon, Monkey Booze and Sharabi Lassi [khush kitaiiiin, mundyaano ! ;-)]. And in the food part, try all the indian starters.....and Hyderabadi Murg pizza (available only after 7:30 PM). fair warning though - food takes time, vis-a-vis , drinks.....so you may wanna consider that while placing an order.

Cool n hip crowd....large screens to project the latest sporting spectacle.....dance your heart away.....laugh your heart away....cry your heart away....let your problems dissolve in their cheesy crust pizzas or starters and dissolve in the alcohol...

Wanting an early dinner, we booked a table here at 3 Wise Monkeys, and got the confirmation after a slight delay, but no hassles as such. Upon our arrival most tables were empty so we got to choose one for ourselves. We had reached just in the nick of time for the happy hours, where you get 1+1 on drinks. Surprisingly we were told none of the beers offered in happy hours were available, so we settled for Smirnoff Green Apple and Antiquity Blue. Our first starter was Pepper Garlic Prawns, which was very spicy, so those with milder preferences should probably request while ordering this dish to tone down the spice. The prawns were fresh, there was plenty of garlic but not too much, so the flavour was quite good. Up next was Fish and Chips, and that was another hit. The chips were a touch too salty, but the fish was quite nice, the accompanying dip and salad was yummy too. At this point, having finished our drinks, I wanted to activate my Zomato Gold, but was told that happy hours and Zomato Gold both can't be offered at the same table, which was illogical. After a brief debate we paid the bill for what we had till then and ended up moving to a different table, and there I activated my Gold. We opted for a Kingfisher Lager and a cocktail, In To The Galaxy. I really liked the latter, a concoction of vodka, tequila, grenadine and blue curacao, it could've been a bit stronger, and funnily, the second round was stronger than the first, at most restaurants it's the other way round. For the mains we had Keto Chicken Fried Rice. Prepared with cauliflower mince, and served with an omelette on top, it turned out to be quite good, I was expecting it to be on the blander side, but it was not. Would've liked some more meat in it, but that's not to say there was too little chicken in it. With that we ended our innings, as it was getting late for us, so unfortunately couldn't try their desserts. To sum up then, 3 Wise Monkeys does most things right, the food is tasty, the serving sizes aren't all that big but aren't tiny either. The drinks are strong, and they have both happy hours as well as Zomato Gold on drinks (but their policy of not offering both at the same table is really silly), and the staff is polite as well. It gets very loud 9 pm onwards, so better to drop in here when you're going to only drink n chill rather than have long...
