It is a nice ‘XL’ size restaurant, with covered veranda seating as well as your regular AC seating. A bright beautiful winter morning needed to be enjoyed out in the open. The play of the sunlight on the table was enticing. They have chapter-wise menu, so cute. So, for breakfast only Chapter 1 is served. Though as I perused the menu, I was loving how the other chapters were shaping up. Will go back to finish the story…hmm…The Fable. Which brings me to the wall in the restaurant that is covered with books. Yes! Actual books, stappled to the wall, all yellow with the passage of time and covered with words and now I am sure infused with the aroma from the dining area. There is a quirky book lamp and cozy corners with books to read. Though they are changing their décor in March-April. Perhaps will go back in May after their renovation. Now, lets get down to Chapter 1. Oh! The words were mouthwatering and we couldn’t wait to have them materialize in front of us. The drinks arrived first. And you can see from the pic, they look so tempting. We had ordered Power Smoothie, Banana & Salted Caramel, Cold Coffee with Ice cream and fresh Orange Juice. Except for the power smoothie which I think was a little bit more than he, my son, could chew…err…I mean drink, all the other drinks were spot on. Then we went a bit overboard and ordered six different dishes. And believe me we managed to wipe out most of them. Quinoa & Cottage Cheese Salad with loads of Avocado. I don’t know what the fuss is about avocado, it tastes nothing…but has a lot of health benefits, so pair it with something that has taste and you can eat it almost with out knowing it, save for its weird soft texture. The salad was good and wholesome. The only element that was bland and I didn’t enjoy were the kidney beans. Daughter ordered Banana & Nutella Crepe. And she swore they were awesome. The chunks of peanut chikki added to the crunch. Egg Shakshuka was for sunny boy. The sunny side ups were perfectly cooked and the shakshuka which looks so much like pav bhaji was so flavorful. Hubby ordered Mumbai Masala Omelet. You can’t go wrong with them, and neither did fable. The hash were crispy and every one wanted more than the one fourth they got. I ordered Mushroom Medley Crepe. For one, no one likes mushroom in the family so I don’t get an opportunity to enjoy them. Second, been a long time since I had savory crepe. To say that the filling was yum would be an understatement. It was mildly spiced and cheesy. By the end of it I could feel the cheese somersaulting in my stomach, not used to eating so much cheese in one go anymore. Moreover if you like your food to be spicy give this one a miss. But I really enjoyed it. Still all of us wanted two to three more bites (I know, I know…you would think we were just about ready to burst by now) but you can always make space for Do Minutewala Veg Maggi. It was yummmmm…What’s not to like in Maggi, right? That was one of the most satisfying meals I have had. All four of us were stomach-stuffed and heart-happy. I am definitely coming back again, to try the other chapters. PS : Thay have valet parking.

Located in the prime location of Juhu, Fable was our choice of venue for dinner, after a long shopping spree. Being Saturday night we expected to wait for a table but fortunately didn't have to. Once at the table, we liked the ambience, the soft music, and the decor. We opened our account with Pomegranate Sangria, Panseared Stuffed Mince Chicken Rolls and Barbeque Chicken Pizza. The sangria didn't really have much pomegranate flavour, I felt I was having just plain wine. The rolls arrived first, they were in sausage form as expected, with dollops of barbeque sauce. An absolute delight, I polished them off in no time, they were the highlight of our meal. Just then the pizza was served, thin crust with a thick layer of cheese, it treated as good as it looked, the one disappointment being there was very little chicken on it, barely a couple of tiny bits on each slice. Up next was the Charcoal Grilled Chicken Breast, plenty of meat accompanied by roasted veggies and garlic mash. It was a rather bland preparation, neither had the feel of charcoal grilling nor did it have any other flavour. This was followed by Home Made Khowsuey Chicken and Classic Lobster Thermidor. The former was the first to arrive, a Burmese delicacy of noodles served in curry and coconut milk, it was on the sweeter side as expected, but again as before, very little meat in it. The lobster looked really appealing, with it's orange shell, grey-brown meat and green veggies. This was my first lobster, and I found it to be very average, perhaps it just didn't agree with my palette. Our final order was the nonveg Mezze Platter, an assortment of what seemed like Lebanese preparations. While the bread and the chicken were decent, the hummus, harissa and the olives were a complete letdown, I suggest giving this platter a miss. To sum up then, Fable didn't quite live upto our expectations. Apart from the chicken rolls nothing really fully satisfied us. From the paucity of meat in the pizza and the khowsuey to the blandness of the platter, we went from one disappointment to another. The service was on the slower side, the food didn't justify the cost, I'll have to think twice before visiting Fable again, or recommending it to anyone.

This place is located at Juhu and is easy to find because of its big billboard reading FABLE and the host was welcoming as soon as I found him and he took me to my table for four as I was going to have lunch there with my friends after a long time due the current COVID protocols as we seldom go out. So to begin with service was lacking professionalism and it’s understandable as the restaurant have less business and they can’t afford to have staffing like before but still I think they could have done better. So we ordered the food which I’m uploading photos of and overall I enjoyed the food but some fine details were lacking in fact we ordered the only non veg dish which was chicken quesadilla as I was the only person having non veg and the rest of my friends were vegetarian. So the Quesadilla arrived at first look they were yummy so I dived into it and I was disappointed that they were vegetarian so I called them and brought it to their attention and also I told them I will continue eating it and share with my friends so I ordered a Parmesan crusted chicken which was over cooked but didn’t want to trouble them as the restaurant was almost full without maintaining any social distancing so we progressed with our lunch and also ordered a masala tea to finish but it never arrived till half an hour and eventually we had to cancel it which is understandable that they were short staff in kitchen as well. The Pasta was excellent and the avocado on sourdough was very good as well. Pizza margarita was nice and also they added sliced tomatoes on our request which was excellent and the Quesadilla was nice as well but the sour cream they served with it was either split or over beaten. Overall nice experience would like to go there again hoping I get my food order correct.

Juhu Beach in Mumbai is a bustling and iconic coastal destination that truly captures the spirit and charm of this vibrant city. With its golden sand, breathtaking sunsets, and a plethora of activities, Juhu Beach offers a memorable experience for visitors of all ages. Having recently visited this popular hotspot, I'm delighted to share my review.

Juhu Beach's greatest allure lies in its energetic atmosphere. The beach is always alive with the hustle and bustle of locals and tourists, creating a unique tapestry of diverse cultures and backgrounds. From families enjoying leisurely walks to young people playing cricket or football on the sand, there's a palpable sense of joy and camaraderie that pervades the entire stretch.

One of the highlights of Juhu Beach is its incredible sunsets. Watching the sun sink into the Arabian Sea while casting a warm, golden glow over the beach is an enchanting experience. As the evening sets in, the beach transforms into a lively hub of activity with numerous food stalls and vendors offering a delectable array of street food, snacks, and refreshing beverages. Whether you're craving spicy pav bhaji, tangy bhel puri, or sweet corn on the cob, Juhu Beach has it all.

For those seeking adventure, Juhu Beach provides ample opportunities for enjoyment. You can take a horse or camel ride along the shore, which is especially popular with children. The beach also offers exciting water sports activities such as jet skiing and banana boat rides for the adrenaline enthusiasts. It's a thrill to feel the wind in your hair as you zoom across the waves, adding an extra dose of excitement to your beach experience.

While Juhu Beach is undeniably captivating, it can get quite crowded, especially on weekends and holidays. The sheer number of visitors can sometimes lead to littering and lack of cleanliness. Despite ongoing efforts by authorities to maintain cleanliness, it's important for visitors to be mindful of their surroundings and dispose of their waste responsibly.

Another aspect to keep in mind is the presence of street vendors and hawkers who can be quite persistent in their sales pitches. It's advisable to be cautious and negotiate prices wisely when purchasing items from them.

Overall, Juhu Beach remains a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists alike. Its lively atmosphere, stunning sunsets, and diverse range of activities make it an ideal spot for a relaxing day out or an evening of fun-filled entertainment. Despite the occasional crowds and litter, the charm of Juhu Beach shines through, leaving visitors with cherished memories of this enchanting coastal getaway.

So, grab your sunglasses, slather on some sunscreen, and head to Juhu Beach for an unforgettable...
