TAP Resto Bar Juhu — Restaurant in Mumbai

I have been at TAP several times, specially at Marol Naka.

I had some of my friends visiting Mumbai after a long time, we left our home from morning to visit all different places in and around Mumbai our last stop was Juhu beach and we want something relaxing for our dinner.

It was Monday, I knew there wouldn't be much crowd, but still I had prebooked the table. When we arrived, as expected there was not much crowd, most of the tables were empty.

Experience from here was terrible.

The person taking the order was so rude and kept talking in insulting tone. We didn't want to have drink, but the server insisted on ordering one.

We first ordered some fries and appetizers till the time we finalize what we need for main course, he might have thought we are just going to order only 2 things for 6 people, which was evident from the way he was talking. He was being rude like it will cost 6% additional service charge and giving us a feeling that we can't afford this place and wanted us to leave place for not ordering his drink. It was so embarrassing.

We asked some veg food recommendation and clarity on some dishes, again he was like veg is not something to have here.

So, I think he just want people to come here for drinks and non veg food only. If that's the case, please put a board there, there are several option in Mumbai, you are the only one giving service.

We ordered soft drink, which was dull, even 20 rs drink is better from bottle. It was literally stinking.

When the Rice came, he was serving us, I was the closest to him but still he didn't gave me first, anyway that is fine, but the way he distributed it was awful, such an unequal distribution. All got almost 6 spoon serving and when it came to me, not even half a spoon. All noticed this and then we internally had to adjust it. It was 2 bowl of rice. But intentionally I was given at last and least as his cheap tactic.

He also forcefully making us order something we didn't want and use to get upset if we ordered something else!

Only things good was that food was good so 5/5 for chef!

Overall experience 0/5, Downfall of TAP is evident in coming time.

!!! TAP Juhu ♥️ !!! One of the most amazing places at Juhu which you must visit. This place is located just opposite to Juhu beach and has one of the most mesmerizing views. The place has an amazing ambiance too with live bar counter and they also screen important matches in big screens. The drinks at this place were just great, the cocktails and mocktails were totally good. The staff was polite and the service was good too. The food at this place was also good too, they offer a panoply of veg and non veg dishes to choose from. Their menu is well balanced with all types of continental, chinese and indian food in the menu.

We ordered the following dishes at this place.

COCKTAILS Bullfrog - MUST TRY, this was a cocktail which contains a mixture of many spirits, the taste was good, you can definitely order this one. Sangria red- This was a classic sangria, it is basically a red wine based drinks. Tequila sunrise- Must try, this drink was good and had an orange flavor in it. Tequila based drink with an orange punch, totally awesome

STARTERS Murg malai tikka- 5-6pcs of malai chicken tikka, the taste was good and the pieces of chicken were tender and soft. Tequila flamed cottage cheese- This was paneer pieces with a lot of sweet sauce, a perfect thing to go with your drinks. Chilly cheese fries- The taste of the fries was good. These were plain fries with a lot of cheese over it.

MAINS Grill chicken- MUST TRY, this is an continental dish. A huge chicken piece with good red sauce and other veggies and smashed potatoes to go with it.

DESSERTS Philadelphia cheesecake- MUST TRY. If yoy love cheesecakes this is a must dessert to have at this place.

My experience at this place was great. Definitely one of the best places in Juhu. I will definitely visit this...

TAP has a young and quirky ambiance, which gives you just a superficial idea of what you can expect out of the place.

The actual attraction is its lavish bar that gives you all your favorite drinks, just one call away from you. The piping hot finger food served to you on a platter makes up for the rest. The decent priced menu also serves North Indian, Italian, Chinese, and Mexican cuisines take you by surprise.

TAP is in Juhu, Western Suburbs right opposite to Ramada Juhu and Juhu Beach.

What we were served: TAP Veg Platter, Corn Cheese Balls, Pav Bhaji Fondue, Spicy Guava and TAP Booster

TAP Veg Platter – A brilliant platter of potato croquettes, French fries, cheese chilly toast and vegetable bruschetta. A perfect side to your drinks if you’re looking for a heavy starter!

Corn Cheese Balls - It makes a great starter. Cheese Corn Balls is a crunchy yet soft-centered deep-fried dish with soft corn kernels and lots of cheese stuffed!

Pav Bhaji Fondue - Cheese added to hot ground pav bhaji is the Indian version of fondue which you can serve with small pieces of brun pav. The most outstanding dish of my meal here was the Pav Bhaji Fondue. The quintessential flavours of a Mumbai's favourite street food was rightly justified!

Spicy Guava – Feels like any packaged guava juice. Improvement required!

TAP Booster – Pineapple juice, cranberry juice, lime juice with a hint of mint leaves turns out as a refreshing and boosting drink! A must try!

Constructive Suggestions:

Spicy Guava needs to be more than just any packaged guava juice. Needs attention!

To sum it up, TAP is an amalgamation of Lounge bar, sports bar, pub & a night club. We are always in awe with the vibe it gets...
