Stepping into this joint is like entering a culinary adventure: the air thick with the aroma of spices dancing on a fiery tawa, enticing your taste buds even before you peek at the menu.
We didn't hesitate to embrace the mystery and dove headfirst into their naan-chaap extravaganza Chicken Special Nanu-Naan-Chaap a buttery pav cradling succulent, smoky chicken pieces, drizzled with a secret sauce that's equal parts tangy and savory. Each bite was an explosion of textures and flavors, a testament to the magic that happens when meat meets tawa.
Next up, the Chicken Popcorn Imagine tiny nuggets of chicken joy, crisp on the outside and juicy within, swimming in a pool of spicy, addictive masala. We couldn't stop popping these into our mouths, sharing becoming an afterthought (sorry, not sorry!).
Then came the pièce de résistance: the Chicken Cream Roll. This roll wasn't playing around. A soft, fluffy paratha wrapped around a generous helping of creamy, flavorful chicken masala, it was comfort food on steroids. Each bite was a warm hug for the soul, perfect for chasing away any Andheri traffic blues.
But the real mystery unfolded with the Chicken Noorani Kebab. Tender chicken marinated in a symphony of spices, grilled to perfection on the tawa, and served with a mint chutney that cut through the richness like a cool summer breeze. This kebab was so good, it deserved its own fan club.
Now, no feast is complete without dessert, and Tawaa Mystery doesn't disappoint. We took a leap of faith and ordered the Baklawa Mystery and the Gulab Jamun Mystery. The baklawa was a revelation, layers of filo pastry encasing a nutty surprise, drizzled with honey, Ice-cream and spices. Each bite was a delightful textural experience, sweet and savory playing an irresistible tango on our tongues. And the gulab jamun? Let's just say they were melt-in-your-mouth clouds of sugary bliss, soaked in a fragrant rosewater syrup that transported us straight to dessert heaven. Must try!!
Tawaa Mystery is more than just a quick-bite joint; it's an experience. It's about embracing the unknown, letting the tawa work its magic, and discovering flavor combinations that will leave you wanting more. So, if you're in Andheri, ditch the mystery novels and head to Tawaa Mystery - your taste buds are in for a thrilling adventure!
Rating: 5/5 - Sizzling hot!

Read moreIf you are a Bandraite you would know Tawaa Mystery for sure and if you don’t then it’s one of my favourite cloud kitchens in Bandra. they have opened a sit-down restaurant in Andheri West and guess what they have introduced Tandoor, Chinese and many more mystery specials in the restaurant
I was super excited to try this place and see if it’s like the Bandra one as usually sometimes the taste differs in outlets but thank god they didn’t disappoint and this one has better and more variety to choose from
Tawa From the beloved tawa items I loved the special naanu naan chaap in chicken and mutton, mutton boti cheese roti baida roti, chicken cheese cream roll, chicken turkish and chicken kasthuri pulav are my all-time favs
Tandoor Loved the Banjara, Aalishan, Barra and Malai chicken starters, in gravy the butter chicken and seekh gravy was too good (have it with the Bombay naan or the garlic cheese naan I tried it with that)
Chinese Chicken lollipop, butter garlic chicken and I tried this rice and chicken Chinese combo and honestly, the quantity was too much so quite filling
In rolls definitely try the cchiben or mutton barra, seek, and malai
