The Bombay Cartel is a fantastic spot for a night out, offering delicious food, creative cocktails, and a lively ambiance. The moment you walk in, the upbeat music and stylish décor create an inviting atmosphere, perfect for socializing.
The menu is impressive, especially for vegetarians. Dishes like the Truffle Mushroom Flatbread and Tandoori Broccoli stand out for their rich flavors and presentation. The drinks menu is equally exciting, featuring well-crafted cocktails with unique twists. I particularly enjoyed their whiskey-based options, which had a perfect balance of smokiness and depth.
Service was friendly and attentive, though a bit slow during peak hours. The staff was knowledgeable and happy to offer recommendations, which added to the experience. However, the wait time for food was longer than expected, which could be improved.
The overall vibe is energetic, making it an ideal place for a fun evening with friends. The only drawback is the loud music, which can make conversations challenging. That said, if you’re looking for a vibrant atmosphere, great food, and innovative drinks, The Bombay Cartel is a great choice.
With a few minor service improvements, it could easily be a 5-star experience. I’d definitely visit again for the food...
Read moreAn underwhelming experience.
I chose this restaurant based on the reviews about jain food being excellent. However, it wasn't true. Not completely disappointed bcoz the tandoori dish was a savior for the evening. Their mezze platter with hummus and falafel in jain was tasteless. I have had hummus and falafel in jain version at many places and this was not good. Very bland. No olive oil being drizzled on the hummus. Pita breads were dry and not even toasted a little. And lavash bread looked stale and not crispy.
Korean rasam was good but too less in its portion.
Pizza was thin crust and tasted good but cold.
Their mock tails were nice. No doubt. Esp exotica which was cranberry and orange flavored. Must try this one.
Ambience was nice. Service was fast. And clean.
Yet when the food leaves u an underwhelming experience, we certainly will feel disappointed bcoz for me, the taste is all that matters.
PS - we skipped the desserts at this place after the meal so far being less impressive.
And I wouldn't trust the reviews by people about jain food now onwards. Not...
Read moreWe arrived at Bombay Cartel Juhu after making a reservation online. We arrived on time but when we enquired with the waiting staff about our table we were told that we would have to wait as there are others who have made reservations as well. It is quite frustrating if an establishment does not uphold its end of a commitment. We waited another 30 minutes to be seated at a table which was only knee high. The chairs were also low to go along with the table, making it quite difficult for a tall person to sit at. I did not complain then because I could see it was the only table that was available and we had waited long enough. The table also had a gaping hole right in the middle as it was designed to match the restaurant’s overall aesthetic, the hole reduced the overall real estate on the table and made it hard for us to accommodate the plates for two people. Apart from this I did enjoy the food and drinks. They turned out to be as advertised on the menu. The kitchen staff also seem quite efficient as they were quick to bring out our starters and...
