Veranda is located on the main SV road Khar and it is easy to locate.
The restaurant is located on the 1st floor and the huge glass wall gives nice view of the road. The space is nice with seatings available for all size of groups. Loved the lightings done and they have a special zone for live music which is held between Friday to Sunday. The bar looks great and the overall vibe of this place is perfect for all type of occasions.
The menu consists multi cuisine hence the variety available is excellent. From Indian to Chinese to Italian and a lot more in covered. Prices are not too high and the quantity served is great.
Went here on a Thursday dinner and the DJ played nice Bollywood songs. Kitchen service was on time and table service by staff Worngam & Kevin was perfect.
What We Had - APPETISERS~ Loaded Nachos - Doritos topped with salsa, beans, guacamole and cheese sauce looked amazing and tasted equally good. The cheese sauce tasted creamy and the beans were perfectly cooked. Everything in this dish was fresh hence loved eating this.
Dhaba Chicken Platter - 3 types of chicken tikkas served on spicy sauce along with green chutney tasted nice. Loved the grilling of the chicken and the taste of all the variants was good.
Singapore Chilli Prawns - This was excellent primarily due to the size and freshness of the prawns. Sweet spicy sauce along with bell peppers, onions and prawns tasted delicious. Loved eating this as the sauce plus the prawns tasted great together.
MAINS~ Cheesy Alfredo Pasta - Basic yet super tasty. Penne done in creamy cheesy sauce with crunchy fresh veggies tasted great. Loved the taste firstly due to cheese and secondly due to right amount of garlic and herbs in it.
Blue Pea & Edamame Fried Rice - Looked beautiful and tasted nice. Loved the light rice but the crunchy edamame and finely chopped veggies were really good in this.
DESSERTS~ Flourless Chocolate Cake - This is one of the best tasting flourless cake. Not too sweet and very gooey and chocolatey. I can eat two of these.
BEVERAGES~ Indian Sunrise. Virgin Pina Colada. Berry Ice Tea. All the drinks were really good and refreshing.
So our meal at Veranda Khar was a great experience due to the ambience, nice music and tasty food. Will definitely visit again to experience the live music. Till then you guys should...

Right from the moment I entered, the vibe was immaculate. The ambiance is fresh, lively, and aesthetic — like a cozy, lush garden tucked inside the city. Definitely one of those places where you feel relaxed the moment you sit down.
Drinks (Mocktails): Started off with a Mixed Berry Lemonade — a refreshing burst of raspberry, blueberry, cranberry, and a dash of lemonade. Perfectly balanced between sweet and tangy — super refreshing! Also tried their Tiramisu Espresso Martini mocktail — basically dessert in a glass. Creamy, smooth, with that rich coffee + tiramisu flavour, minus the booze. Loved it.
Starters: We tried four starters and honestly, not a single miss: • Singapore Chili Prawns – spicy, bold, and cooked just right. Absolute banger if you love a little heat. • Butter Chicken Poutine – buttery, creamy chicken served over crispy fries — comfort food at its best! • Peri-Peri Chicken Tenders – juicy, crispy, and perfectly spiced. Loved the peri-peri twist! • Dhaba Style Chicken Platter – smoky, masaledar, and packed with desi flavors. A true soul-satisfying dish.
Every starter was flavorful, well-cooked, and beautifully plated. Portion sizes were pretty decent too.
Dessert: Ended the meal with a Baileys Tiramisu — and honestly, it was the perfect finish. Creamy, luscious layers with a hint of Baileys — just the right amount of indulgence.
Service: The staff was super polite, friendly, and gave good recommendations. Special shoutout to the bartender who explained the mocktails and even customized them a bit to our taste. Loved the attention to detail!
Overall: The vibe, the food, the service — everything was a win. Perfect for a chill night out or a lowkey celebration. Would absolutely come back for the Butter Chicken Poutine and that insane Tiramisu...
Read moreVisited for the first time! Since me and my friend were craving for something very Spicy, we scanned the menu and ordered Bhut Jolokia garlic chicken. Consulted our server and he too agreed this would be very hot to taste! Special instruction given by us: Please check with the chef if there is any sugary base sauce used in this preparation as we are not looking for a sweet+spicy taste!! He confirmed that is not possible at all!
Dish is served along with beers and BAM!! The freaking dish is neither spicy to taste and sweet as well! Both elements opposite of what we desired and despite prior confirmation! However, the chicken was nice and tender and well cooked!
We complained and the dish bowl was taken away. The same chicken was re-cooked and camouflaged with some spicy sauces and served to us again.. now the chicken was chewy as it was over-cooked and the camouflaged flavors were clearly evident..the taste was mediocre at best and nothing as per our expectations!
Half way through the meal and my friend gets a chicken bone while eating! Showed this to our server but decided not to make a huge fuss over it.. almost close to finishing the dish and 1 more bone!! Now we were considerably upset!! The manager came to the table, apologized and asked us to "enjoy the evening" and left the table!! The insincerity in the managers apology was as evident as the camouflaged flavors of the chicken...
Our mood and appetite both perfectly screwed with this whole episode! I decide to not continue dining there and called for the bill. Our server offered us complimentary desserts which we declined and left the place!!
This could have been handled better on the very first go when the dish tasted different than the menu...
