Amour Bistro is located in the wonderful Malcha Marg Market. Its a beautiful, small and quaint Bistro in middle of new delhi which is full of hustle and bustle. Its absolutely peaceful and relaxed here in this whole area and the Bistro is even more relaxing. It's a really pretty, little bistro with the classic old world European/English charm. We were hosting a breakfast with our family friends and had a great time here. Sunlight enters the restaurant via the windows which is really nice and gives a cosy feeling in the winters. They have an open kitchen which is visible through most the tables so its good that one can see the cleanliness and hygiene being followed in the kitchen. It's also great to see how the food is being prepared aswell.
We ordered quite a variety of food and everything everyone had really enjoyed . Portions here are very generous aswell. The food and drink review is as follows -
Balsamic Grilled Vegetables Sandwich - This was really good and the sandwich was filled with grilled veggies, loads of mushrooms, zucchini, brocolli. The veggies are cooked in Balsamic and served with Herb Ricotta . The bread is garlic bread . My uncle really enjoyed it and said the same multiple times.
Breakfast Skillet - Served in a pretty big skillet was this dish , obviously the skillet was hot when it arrived. Infact all the dishes followed were served in a skillet. The skillet was served with a big piece of sourdough bread and herb butter on the side. The skillet was fully loaded with brocolli, mushrooms ,bell peppers and chicken sausage which was all cooked in a tomato sauce and topped with baked eggs. Another fantastic dish.
Huevos Rancheros - The National breakfast of Mexico is this. It's a dish served with Tortilla and on top of it refried beans with Chicken Sausage and both of these are tossed in a tomato chilli sauce . Finally a sunny side egg to top it off. The dish was full of flavours and not too rich either. The beans were really delicious and spiced very well. The egg was really high quality. Overall the whole combination with the Tortilla combined really well. The only downside was that for some reason my this dish was not warm , it was decently cold which was a turn off and I don't know why so as I ordered my dish last and after sometime and that was the first dish which arrived.
Quiche Royale - A great big slice of Quiche stuffed with Bacon , Spinach and Monterey Jack cheese. The quiche was pretty warm and pretty much a perfect dish. The flavours of bacon , cheese and spinach really complement each other and the crust was just super delicious. The dish also comes with a side of hash brown , house salad and grilled tomato. The quiche had an abundance of bacon which is highly appreciated.
Eggs Royale - So they have eggs Benedict on the menu but no royale. So we asked our server to ask the chef if he could swap the bacon for smoked salmon , which is what's called eggs royale , and charge us the extra. The chef obliged and we...

Meeting up with my college buddies at Amour Bistro turned into an afternoon to remember. This buzzing yet cozy spot offered the perfect backdrop for hours of catching up over incredible food and drinks. Despite the flurry of activity around us, the staff’s warm and accommodating nature stood out—they didn’t bat an eye at our table of four animated girls holding court for a good five hours. Of course, we made sure to keep the orders flowing, and what a feast it was!
We started with the Za’atar Chicken Skewers, which were a delightful balance of smoky char and aromatic Middle Eastern spices. Each bite was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The Avocado Toast was equally impressive, with its creamy avo spread, tangy bursts of pickled onions, and a sprinkle of chili flakes for a mild kick—all perched atop a crusty, golden sourdough base.
For mains, the Chicken Risotto stole the show. Silky Arborio rice, infused with just the right amount of stock, was studded with tender chicken pieces and crowned with a generous sprinkling of Parmesan. The Poached Pear Salad offered a refreshing contrast—a vibrant mix of greens, sweet pears, candied walnuts, and tangy blue cheese, tied together with a light vinaigrette.
The Cajun-Spiced Rubbed Chicken was a revelation—perfectly grilled and boasting a smoky heat that paired beautifully with its creamy accompaniments. And then there was the Pizza: a crispy yet chewy base topped with fresh, bubbling mozzarella and a mix of earthy mushrooms. Each slice disappeared almost as soon as it hit the table!
Our drinks were equally stellar. The Gin & Tonic was crisp and refreshing, the Picante packed a spicy citrus punch, the White Sangria was light and fruity, and the Lavender Knee—a floral, fragrant delight—quickly became a favorite.
To end on a sweet note, we shared the Tiramisu. Soft, creamy, and decadently layered with mascarpone and espresso-soaked sponge, it was pure bliss in every spoonful—a fitting finale to an unforgettable meal.
Amour Bistro’s charm lies not just in its excellent food and drink but also in its ability to make you feel at home. It’s a place I’ll return to, not just for the flavors but for the memories...
Read moreAmour Bistro is the place I fell in love with mon amour once again. The bistro reminded me of the Parisian cafes that lovers like Sartre and Beauvoir must have frequented to have a pleasant time to escape their mundane lives and steal glances while sharing a “carnivorous platter” where I ate the not-so-carnivorous parts. I sat there alone waiting for my partner who was (ugh!) 15 minutes late while I reached at 9:55 for a 10 AM date. The carefully chosen last seat by the window provided the perfect quaint setting for penning my thoughts which were to go with an embroidered brooch I made to gift him since ever so often I have trouble expressing my love. Every time I don’t touch him emotionally is a time wasted. But as soon as he pulled over wearing his unmissable yellow mask I took a sigh to contain my excitement to see him and got ready for the breakfast date which was going to be unfathomably a memorable one. Keeping up with our late-20’s teenage romance, we fed each other and made fun of each other as always. I had migraine and kept looking out the window while he kept telling me how beautiful I looked and so did he in his Jitender-esque white on white ensemble but I wouldn’t tell him that because I have to maintain my strong emotionless exterior. I barely ate the froth of my mocha that I reached out to the irresistible sight of the leftover froth in his cappuccino mug and spilled my coffee all over the table and my dress. I felt bad for the staff for having to clean after me but they helped me first. I was so embarrassed that I wanted to get out of there as soon as I cleaned myself with the white tissues which left weird residues on my black cotton dress. I thought I ruined our date and it’s the end of the world. My stockings were sticky because of the spilled coffee which made me so uncomfortable and eventually I took them out while he wrote me a comforting love note and we resumed our date. Amour Bistro holds a special place in our memories and I will rue the day I don’t get to visit this...
