I appreciate good food. Food made with love, with organic ingredients and the kind of food that feels like a warm hug. I try to eat local and seasonal. Be it desi ghee, crops of the season or the grains of the land. Perhaps it aligns the body to the place and time that we are at.. I don’t know if there’s any science to it or maybe it’s only a reassuring feeling I get of eating healthy. I like to read about nutrition but I don’t stress on it too much. Obsession, fad diets, trendy superfoods don’t do it for me- after all we are sociable people with occupations, living in an urban setting with stresses of city life. What has worked is finding a balance. A balance of a kale salad and a mutton biryani. A balance of sleeping in and of going on a walk. I am averse to nutritional extremities and thus was sceptical at first, about Eleved at Life Yoga. We were there yesterday for lunch and had the most scrumptious, clean meal in a long time. It’s the perfect place to give, both your taste buds and your soul a treat. Ancient, Vedic styles of cooking, Indian flavours meeting modern cuisine. It was fantastic! We ordered the ragi pani puri with guava rock sugar compote and kaffir lime. The tomato, date and peach tart, the chickpea sheermal burger which had rose harissa, dukkah eggplant and smoked goat cheese. We also had the Shishir (winter) khichdi- it had moong dal, rosemary infused root vegetables, Moroccan lemon preserve and black sesame chutney. The pizza had king oyester and shimeji mushrooms, as a side the, crispy karela with vayu spice was brilliant. For desserts, we had the saffron shrikhand mille feuille and the mogra and chocolate mousse with green apple halva. And don’t miss out on ordering the sandalwood sherbet! As a bonus, the place is serene and spatial. There’s a wellness store next to the restaurant. This probably is the best place to get a meal after a yoga session or a work out, or even in shorts and slippers on a lazy Sunday morning, like we did.

When you enter this restaurant, you really feel you are in for a great meal. The aesthetics are pleasing. The chairs are comfortable. It's bright with beautiful big windows. The chairs are comfortable. The menu is lovely. Everything on the menu is explained well. The staff is courteous. When they bring the food to the table it looks lovely. Beautifully presented. But - when you actually eat the food, it somehow doesn't taste as good as it looks. When Mahika asked me how it was ... I said Nic...ummmm - and I guess that says it all. It's nic...ummmm Should you come here then to have a meal? Yes you should... But most people, me included may not come again. Which is a shame - because somehow everything looks so good and all ticks are in place, yet there is a yet and a but. Mesculun salad was strictly ok - needed more dressing. The sweet potato salad was superb. The avocado toast was quite nice. The burger was nothing to write home about. The hot chocolate was really good. The Chandan sherbet smelt divine didn't taste as good. Was tempted to use it as a perfume rather than drink it 😀 Soo yes ... Nice...ummmm

A beautiful cafe with beautiful morning vibes. We went for breakfast and it was quite soothing. Nice meditative music playing. Silent and serene. They have a shop also inside selling cotton clothes, organic soaps, beauty stuff, lotions etc but that’s quite expensive. Menu has mostly healthier options. Again good is quite expensive. We tried the broccoli paranthas which comes with three types of dips. The dips were good and so were the paranthas but the portion size and size of paranthas seemed quite less. Almost Rs 500 for a plate of 2 paranthas. The smoothie fig rose was good. Rs 300 around but again lesser portion size. Service is good. Menu is designed as per ayurvedic ingredients and Tatvaa. They have a yoga centre on the first floor. Lots of guests were returning after doing yoga. They also sell lot of organic products outside the cafe like ghee, jaggery, millets, dals, black rice etc. Sourcing from across India.

In the heart of Malcha, there is an oxymoron that exists. Bruh - It’s yum but also healthy! 😂. No kidding - it's a sanctuary for those who appreciate the art of nourishing their bodies with wholesome, delicious fare. From the moment you step through Eleved’s doors, a sense of well-being envelops you, making it clear that this is not just a restaurant but a haven for healthy living. The ambiance is both inviting and calming, with a tasteful blend of natural elements, soothing colors, and an abundance of (‘what’s missing especially after yesterday’s match’) ‘A feel good factor’. In short - it’s warm, welcoming and smells like 👌🏻__ (fill those blanks)! Eleved’s skilful balance of flavour and nutrition in every dish is like Yoga for your food pipe. It doesn’t just taste awesome it’s also rewarding. I think I’ve said this the third time now! No matter what your dietery preferences are - it will delight your taste buds. Freshness takes centre stage, with locally-sourced, organic ingredients gracing each plate. The commitment to sustainability is evident in the restaurant's ethos, as they strive to minimise their environmental footprint without compromising on quality. Every bite feels like a celebration of wholesome living, and each dish is a testament to the belief that nutritious food can be an exquisite culinary experience. To the makers, contributors, creators and conceptualisers of this space -...
