I asked for a table for 3 in the cafe near the Gucci store. The manager told me that the place is busy. I asked her, ok how much time I have to wait can you give me an estimate. She didn't answer me, she said you can go and sit in Cha-shi if you get table and we will serve you there. (I did not understand what she was saying, and I didn't know at that time that these two restaurants are related). Anyways I asked her again how long I have to wait. She said again this place is busy. I asked her again and she said 20 to 30 mins. And I said that was what I have been asking you. She mocked me and rudely said bye. We came after 20 mins and she said it's closed! The food here is good but how can this staff 'personally' come to behave so rudely. I don't get it. Customers 'pay' and 'eat' the food, nobody is taking the food for free. Why does the staff behave as if they are the boss of the customers or they are doing some charity. Really bad behaviour of that manager lady and some other waiters as well.. I really request the management to either change the staff or to train them strictly to behave properly. If you have a restaurant in a 5 star mall then your behaviours should also match the place. It does not mean that if you are sitting in a 5 star place, you will bring out all your gutter rat,...
Read moreSaturday lunch with Pan Asian food. I have visited this mall several times but never tried Cha Shi. What forced me to try out this place was every time I reach towards the Versace store it’s the amazing smell of the Asian spices and herbs being used by the chefs here. So finally it was my day to must try there dishes. Chicken Egg fried rice and vegetable fried rice with minced chicken was amazing. Perfectly used herbs nailed to perfection. Dim sum and veg machow soup combination was too good. But I felt the staff was unable to manage the crowd as people were standing on top of our head which makes it uncomfortable to eat food. Table reservations and management although was on first come first basis but no one monitors who came first, so it made the atmosphere chaotic. If they can have someone to manage the table it would make this place better. But if you are coming here then try to avoid the weekends. Staffs needs better training at service to serve glasses with water because after the bottle of water we had to wait and ask for the glasses. Will surely visit again to try out rest...
