My recent visit to Chili's Restaurant in Vasant Kunj was an absolute nightmare. Six of us went there for dinner last Sunday, expecting a pleasant dining experience, but instead, we all suffered from severe food poisoning. I cannot emphasize enough how terrible this ordeal was, and I would strongly advise everyone to steer clear of this establishment until they address their food safety and hygiene issues.
The ambiance of the restaurant was decent, and the staff seemed friendly at first. However, the excitement quickly turned into distress as the food arrived. We ordered a variety of dishes from their menu, ranging from appetizers to main courses. While some dishes looked presentable, the taste was mediocre at best.
Unfortunately, within a few hours after leaving the restaurant, all six of us experienced severe stomach cramps, nausea, and vomiting. The symptoms were so intense that we had to rush to the nearest hospital for immediate medical attention.
Our doctor confirmed that we suffered from food poisoning and attributed it to the food consumed at Chili's Restaurant. It's disheartening to think that a well-known establishment like Chili's could have such blatant disregard for food safety and hygiene standards.
The aftermath of this dining experience has been distressing, to say the least. We spent the last few days recuperating, missing work, and dealing with medical bills. Moreover, the emotional and physical toll this incident took on us cannot be overlooked.
In conclusion, I cannot stress enough how awful our experience at Chili's Restaurant in Vasant Kunj was. From the subpar food quality to the severe food poisoning we suffered, this dining experience was nothing short of disastrous. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this restaurant until they demonstrate a significant improvement in their food safety protocols and customer service. It is essential to prioritize the health and safety of customers, and sadly, Chili's failed miserably in...
Read moreI went to have a meal at chilis in ambience mall, vasant kunj and left thoroughly disappointed. We ordered starters and mains. My girlfriend got her mains and I was waiting on my fish dish. Mind you fish takes a shorter time to cook than steak. She deliberately ate very slowly as we had come out together to have a meal. We actually came all the way from gurgaon as we had heard really good things about this chilis. She continued to eat slowly and I was left sitting there wondering where my meal was. After a good half hour plus we asked one of the staff where the meal was and they had actually forgotten to put the order through so they put it in and said it’ll be another 5mins. It took longer than that and by that point I just wanted to go somewhere else to eat as it’s extremely disappointing to have to wait about 50 mins for your mains. Before the dish came out we asked them to cancel it and they were supposed to however the manager brought it out in front of me when we kept asking to get the bill. She was trying to force the plate in front of me (not charging us anything for it). The point isn’t having a free meal- the point is no body should have to wait 50mins for fish. I kept refusing her offer and she tried to guilt trip me saying we’ve made the meal it’s going to go to waste please have it free of charge and don’t leave without eating. We had to keep telling them over and over no just give us the bill; finally they brought it. Overall, waiting that amount of time, plus the fact that they forgot my dish and then were trying to guilt trip me about eating it left me quite unhappy. A suggestion to make would be listen to the customer- with their order and also if they’re requesting the bill. I probably wouldn’t go there again as the entire experience took a totally different turn to what I was expecting, on what was supposed to be quite a...
Read moreChilli's really doesn't need a review (unless you're from a different planet and have never heard about it), so I'd just go ahead and share my latest experience, the food although really good (as usual) my issue is with the staff and their level of coordination. So, its GIRF on dineout and when you see 50% off on a restaurant like chilli's you just have to take it, that's exactly what we do we get the 50% off coupon and enter the restaurant, we informed the person who showed us to our table about the coupon and ordered our meal, however when we asked for the bill, the discount wasn't applied and we find out that the dishes we ordered don't fall under the discount bracket and we should've informed someone we have a coupon so they could give us the discount menu (which we did), as a counter argument we were told we should have informed the manager (never called the manager before having a meal in any restaurant) after arguing for over 20 minutes getting our point across of how we're not supposed to guess which item is discounted and which is not, its the restaurants job to give us the discounted menu, we get some 200 rupees off and choose to give up on the argument, the 3 stars for how good the food actually was but this experience just doesn't allow me to give anything...
