Ichiban Pandara Road — Restaurant in New Delhi

Great food specially thier Dumplings/Dimsum were great but service is average they were taking a lot of time to bring the food even in night without being rush hours and after confirming from other people at that place they confirmed that yes this Restaurant takes a lot of time to bring food minium was 15-20 mins after placing the order which is a lot considering it being in a good premium part of Delhi at Pandara Road so service should be here priority but it wasn't so take that thing in mind if you are very hungry and can't wait for too long better skip it or consider it knowing that you have to wait minimum 15-20 mins other then that food was decent , I had Chilli Garlic noodles but they were pretty bland couldn't taste neither taste garlic in it nor was it spicy I had to add extra sauces that were on the table to make it eatable so my experience here was quite average or slightly between bad to average as waiting time for food was very high and they are taking a premium still food tastes decent only there dumplings are something you would want to go again to have but again longer time , higher price and even the portion...

I recently visited Ichiban on 07 jan, 2025. We called them beforehand to confirm the timing of last order which they said can be done by 4:30pm. However once we visited they took our initial order but completely refused to take the second order just 5 mins after around 4:15 even after our repeated requests that we drove from far away specially because they told us on phone that we can order uptil 4:30pm.

Nonetheless we ordered creamy garlic chicken and manchurian which surely was cooked in a haste as manchurian gravy was quite watery and manchurian balls completely undercooked.

Creamy garlic chicken was also undercooked, as gravy had a weird watery consistency.

Also the lady in the blue shirt ( manager or waitress) was quite angry as soon as she saw us entering the restaurant which was quite evident.

I’ve already visited this restaurant a dozen times and would suggest you to never show up during the end hours as the staff is quite grumpy and rude whenever they see you entering near lunch...

I didn't know that their Veg Mangolian Hot Pot comes with worms. My excitement to try it turned into regret of coming to this place. When I showed them that there was warm in the hot pot, one of the employees very casually said "Oh! It must have been in the cauliflower." Being a vegetarian it was a big turn off for me. She was so casual that I had to explain her how these worms can be very harmful to humans as one of my friends suffered already due to this. The hotpot was clear so I could clearly see the worm, I wonder what might have happened in the other dishes that we ordered. We didn't hear any apologies from them neither they picked that bowl where I found the worm right away. They just served us some dessert on the house which was too too sweet. I AM 100% SURE THAT WITH THIS ATTITUDE THEY WON'T PAY ATTENTION TO THE HYGIENE IN NEAR FUTURE AS WELL. It's a total dissatisfaction when we are paying so much and the negligence on their part could be fatal for some...
