I recently had the pleasure of dining at Minar Restaurant, and I must say, it was an exquisite culinary experience from start to finish.

I went to Minar with my friends on April 6 2025. We got the table after waiting for 5-10 minutes which was okay for a sunday evening. We ordered snacks, soup and main course. Snacks were pretty decent but what came in the name of the very famous Minar Butter Chicken was totally disappointing and tasteless. Even the butter chicken we cook at home has some taste but what they served was totally disappointing, would like to tell you the price as well- 1450/- INR for 1 full plate of disappointment(Boneless butter chicken) and when we conveyed this to the staff, the answer that we got from the manager (an aged uncle) was beta yahi cheez khaane bahar 100 log ki waiting hoti hai. Later the manager agreed that this butter chicken was served out of the new lot and was not given enough time to cook as per their recipe. As a courtesy, the least they could’ve done was to remove the item from the bill as more than half of the butter chicken was left.

The other item from the main course we ordered was Mutton Rogan Josh which was sweeter than the butter chicken.

I don’t know how the so called Foodies and Influencers are selling their fake reviews to lure crowd into these age old restaurants who have no taste left in their food.
