Sometimes, loneliness just hits harder than usual. I was home today, feeling low and a little lost. I wanted to go out, breathe different air, be somewhere that didn’t feel so heavy. So, like anyone would, I texted a friend and she said "No". Just... No. And somehow, that small rejection felt huge. It hit me that I really had no one to go out with today. And the worst part? I can’t go places alone. Or at least, I thought I couldn’t. I didn’t want to waste my chhutti sitting at home, overthinking everything. Then this little thought popped into my head "Third Wave Coffee Cafe." And suddenly... my mood shifted. That one thought brought a soft little glow to my heart. Because honestly, this place? It feels like home sometimes. The only place I can come alone without any overthinking or hesitation haha. Just feel this place calms something in me. No one here disturbs me. When I walk in, they greet me with the warmest smiles—especially this one sweet girl (I think her name is Shivii? Not fully sure, but she’s adorable, i mean the prettiest ; warmest smile. Maybe she's also a reason why come here in "Third wave".). I even left a review for her once, which I never do so easily. And look at me now—sitting here in the same cafe, writing this, heart full and calm. If that doesn’t tell you how much this place means to me, I don’t know what will. Oh and a little secret? Absolutely ridiculous experience at Third Wave Coffee. We went on a quiet Saturday afternoon, the café was nearly empty, with only a few orders ahead of us. I placed an order for just two coffees — a latte and a cappuccino and after waiting 25 minutes, they still hadn’t even started making them. I followed up three separate times, and each time I was told something vague, with no urgency whatsoever. This isn’t some complex order — it’s two standard coffees. They should change their name to “Third Wave, No Coffee”. The complete lack of efficiency or basic courtesy was infuriating.

The delay and poor communication caused serious frustration. What was meant to be a relaxed afternoon turned into unnecessary stress. I had no choice but to cancel the order and leave. I went to another nearby café and got the same drinks within minutes — no hassle.

This was my first and definitely last visit to Third Wave Coffee. As someone who genuinely enjoys coffee and had heard great things, I am incredibly disappointed.
