My recent visit to this pub was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that customer service was not a priority. The staff were inattentive and seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than attending to patrons. After an extended wait, our order was finally taken, but that was only the beginning of our ordeal.

The prices on the menu suggested a premium experience, but what we received was far from it. The food arrived after an unreasonable delay and immediately we were hit by a pungent smell of old, spoiled food. It was clear that freshness was not a concern in this kitchen. The dishes tasted just as bad as they smelled – stale, bland, and utterly unappetizing. It was a struggle to finish even a few bites.

The atmosphere of the pub did nothing to improve the situation. The unpleasant odor of old food lingered everywhere, making it difficult to enjoy anything. Despite the supposed charm of the place, it felt neglected and poorly maintained.

Overall, this pub was a huge disappointment. The combination of horrendous service, overpriced and stale food, and an unappealing ambiance made it one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. I would strongly advise anyone considering a visit to think twice. Save your money and your time – there are far better places out there. Avoid this pub at all costs.

I recently visited this restaurant expecting a good dining experience, but it turned out to be one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a long time. First of all, the service was extremely poor. The staff seemed completely disinterested, inattentive, and unprofessional. It took more than 30 minutes just to get someone to take our order, and even after that, the wait time for food was unbelievably long. When the food finally arrived, it was cold and lacked any real flavor.

To make things worse, the prices were ridiculously high for the quality of food served. The portion sizes were small, and the taste was nowhere near what you would expect for the amount they charge. It felt like a complete waste of money. There was absolutely no value for what we paid.

We raised our concerns with the manager, but even they showed no sense of responsibility or willingness to address the complaints. Overall, the entire experience was disappointing and frustrating from start to finish. I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone. I was invited to the venue by good, modern electronic music playing outside, which is also played inside by a DJ. I was curious to try the seafood on offer. The menu includes a variety of dishes, including some local Pondicherry cuisine. For starter I ordered prawns in spices and garlic and a grilled [spiny] lobster for the main course. The prawns were excellent, a small heap of them cost 500 INR, while the lobster, also very well prepared and tasty, cost ca. 560 INR per 100g (with average weight of 300-400g). I honestly wish I had two stomachs, as the menu was filled with dishes I trust must be a true feast as well. The restaurant offers legitimately recommendable craft beer, which can be ordered in 1,5l pitchers; I had AIPA - surprisingly good. The service was helpful and tended to requests. In my opinion probably one of the best places to eat in Pondy. Would definitely go back.
