They say what comes easy don't last. And what lasts don't come easy. That's the magic about this lovely little pizzeria in the centre on Pondicherry. A variety of choices in veg, non-veg - chicken, pork and fish. You feel confused with the choices. My partner and me want some Pizza for dinner. Yes we took on google for some help. There are lot of pizza joints in Pondi. But this one caught our attention, obvious reason the ratings. Very highly rated and it's 'Woodfire pizza'. So we had to try it out. When we reached it was already 10. They have a very limited seating. No fancy setup. We were wondering whether it would be as good as it is said to be...then we checked the menu and we're confused but then we fixed on a Iron Pie, medium. A mix of chicken, spinach, garlic, onions and olives. There was only one young chef named Pooja. And there were another couple and us waiting for the order. We waited and waited and waited...while we were wondering hope it's worth the wait. Vola after about 25 mins the pizza arrives. Wow what a sight 😍😍 The cheese was dripping with filled toppings and nice thin crust. One bite and the world would melt in your mouth 😋😋😋 It was one of the best Woodfire pizzas i have had. And guess what the bill was just Rs. 300 💫 Its a must try out joint if you are in Pondi. But pls have patience. Then you can enjoy the fruit. I mean...

One of the best places to have pizza made in a firewood oven in Pondicherry. Had been to this place in 2015. Then again visited in 2023. There are changes. It has now become AC. Space wise same with a small sitting place. Pizza wise it has not changed at all. Same great tasting pizza.

Cons Place is small so a large group may have problem find a place to sit. Since they cook on order, it takes time so you need to have patience No coke or other soda drinks available on premise.

We ordered a small 4 cheese pizza and a large tuna fish pizza. In the 4 cheese, the teeth was just sinking in the cheese toppings. The tuna pizza was made with fresh tuna and it is topped abundantly on the pizza. My 6 year old finished the 4 cheese pizza without making any fuss and we did the same to the other one. Accidentally discovered this place while returning from Manakula Vinayagar Temple, stopped by to check this place out.

I do recollect seeing a vlog on this place, recommending it, so decided to order here, hoping it would be good.

Run by a couple who double up in dishing out fresh pizzas out of this super hot wood fired pizza oven.

Ordered around 8 pizzas and a couple of garlic bread portions to take back. Four families feasted on these delicious cheesy goodness.

Delicious wood fire pizza goodness, very yummy, but an overload of toppings on most options on the wide menu range. It was more like a branded pizza outlet from a toppings perspective, but definitely the wood fire made all the different.

Wouldn’t call this the most great authentic Italian pizza, but definitely a hybrid version that is good enough as a superb change to your regular branded...
