Poor Service 😔 I never expect this much of disappointed From @A2B
When I visited my nearest A2B, located in Pondicherry, I did not expect the service I received from your shop. I went to A2B at 11, Jawaharlal Nehru St, near Mankula Vinayagar Temple, White Town, Puducherry, 605001, between 4 - 6 PM in the evening. I ordered 1 Paneer Fried rice, 1 Mushroom Fried rice, 4 Butter naan, and Paneer Gravy.
The practice of self-service was one of the most annoying things I encountered at your shop. This was due to everyone waiting for their food, but the food was not arriving on time for customers. Even if I ordered just one item like a dosa, there were instances where the confusion arose when it was delivered to the wrong person. This little issue aside, the major problem I faced was that my family was left waiting for food while hungry. If I ordered 4 - 5 items, kindly provide them all at once, as opposed to delivering them individually over time. On this particular visit, another customer mistakenly took my food, causing a delay of 45 minutes until I received my fried rice. Despite my efforts to address the issue, the employee, whose name I do not know, left without responding. After about an hour of continuous questioning, my complaint was finally acknowledged, but without much consideration for customer care. I also witnessed an elderly lady who was disappointed with the poor service, and she even requested to cancel her order.
While you may have some service issues, I would like to suggest a solution. Given that this is an Indian restaurant, please consider training your employees in effective customer communication and service etiquette. It would also be advisable to discontinue the practice of self-service. If you lack the knowledge to provide quality service, consider educating your employees and making improvements to the self-service system.
Here's my suggestion: when a customer places an order, provides them with an order number and serves all their food items simultaneously, calling out the order number for collection. This approach would help streamline the process. I did not anticipate that A2B would ruin my evening, especially when I had brought both my family and my girlfriend's...
Read moreDuring my recent visit to Puducherry, I made a point to dine at A2B – Adyar Ananda Bhavan in White Town, and the experience was truly memorable. Nestled near the Mankula Vinayagar Temple on Jawaharlal Nehru Street, this popular vegetarian eatery exudes a nostalgic charm combined with modern efficiency, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The restaurant’s interiors are bright and clean, with a casual, no-frills ambiance that instantly makes you feel at home. I was impressed by the extensive menu that offers a delightful mix of South Indian classics, North Indian specialties, Chinese favorites, and an array of delectable mithai. I sampled a crispy dosa paired with a bowl of tangy sambar, enjoyed a perfectly brewed cup of filter coffee that captured the authentic taste of South India, and couldn’t resist the tempting sweetness of their Mysore Pak and coconut burfee, which were both rich in flavor and texture. The service was efficient and friendly; while the ground floor operates on a self-service basis that allows you to quickly grab your meal, the first floor is attended by courteous waiters who ensure that your dining experience is smooth. Although some might mention that the portion sizes are modest, I found the overall value for money to be excellent, especially for a budget-friendly outing with family. The aroma of freshly prepared spices and the vibrant energy of the crowd added to the overall charm, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal. In summary, my visit to A2B – Adyar Ananda Bhavan left me thoroughly satisfied with its consistent quality, authentic taste, and affordable prices, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in Puducherry looking for a hearty, traditional vegetarian meal in a relaxed and...
