Absolute Barbecues at Seasons Mall presents a vibrant and interactive buffet dining experience. The ambiance is consistently energetic and bustling, tailored for large groups, family gatherings, and celebratory meals. The restaurant's core attraction is the live grill set into each table, which immediately creates an engaging and lively atmosphere. The overall environment is modern and clean, though often loud due to its popularity and open layout.
The extensive menu is the highlight, with a clear focus on the appetizers. The taste and variety offered are impressive and cater to a wide range of palates.
Live Grill Starters: 9/10. This is where the restaurant truly excels. The Grilled Prawns are a standout, consistently well marinated and cooked to perfection. Other notable items include the tender Mutton Seekh Kebab, the universally loved Crispy Corn, and the sweetly charred Grilled Pineapple.
Main Course Buffet: 7/10. The main course selection offers a decent variety of curries, biryani, and other staples. While the quality is satisfactory, it is generally overshadowed by the exceptional quality and range of the appetizers.
Dessert Counter: 8.5/10. The dessert spread is a significant draw, featuring a live cold stone ice cream counter for customized creations, alongside traditional Indian sweets like hot Gulab Jamun and Jalebi, which are consistently fresh and well prepared.
My dining experience confirms that the strength of Absolute Barbecues lies in its unlimited starters and the interactive grill concept. The service is notably proactive and attentive, with staff ensuring the grill is always stocked and guests are well attended to. While the main course is adequate, the true value is found in the appetizers and desserts. It remains an ideal choice for those with a hearty appetite seeking a dynamic and social dining...
Read moreUpon our arrival at Absolute Barbecues at 12:30 PM, we were promptly seated, which was a relief given the lunch rush. However, as it was a dry day, alcohol service was suspended, although they kindly offered a complimentary mocktail per buffet. Despite this gesture, my attention was drawn to a rather unpleasant sight - cockroaches scurrying about, particularly around the live counter. Naturally, I felt compelled to bring this matter to the manager's attention. He assured me that immediate action would be taken to rectify the situation, but it still left me questioning how such lapses in hygiene could occur in the first place.
Despite the unsettling encounter, I must acknowledge the pleasant ambiance of the restaurant. The décor was inviting, and the seating arrangements were comfortable. However, my enjoyment was tempered by the slow pace of service. It seemed as though our orders were taking longer than usual to arrive at our table, which was somewhat frustrating.
Furthermore, I couldn't help but notice the incomplete food labeling, a fundamental aspect of any buffet-style restaurant. Clear and accurate labeling is essential, especially for diners with dietary restrictions or preferences. I hope this oversight will be addressed promptly to enhance the overall dining experience for future patrons.
Despite these shortcomings, I must commend the courteousness of the staff. They remained professional and attentive throughout our visit, despite the challenges they faced. In conclusion, while our experience at Absolute Barbecue was marred by hygiene concerns and service inefficiencies, there were still elements...
