Agent Jack's — Restaurant in Pune

I recently visited an esteemed food and beverage joint, hoping for a delightful dining experience. Unfortunately, the visit was marred by a consistent issue with the quality of the chicken served. No matter which dish we ordered, the chicken was both tough and smelly. This problem pervaded every dish, indicating a fundamental issue with either the sourcing or storage of the poultry. It's disheartening to encounter such a pervasive flaw, especially from a restaurant with a reputation for high standards.

Our visit took place on a Sunday afternoon, which might have contributed to the problem. Perhaps the restaurant was busier than usual, affecting their ability to maintain food quality. However, this is no excuse for the unpleasant dining experience we had. Patrons expect consistent quality regardless of the time or day.

Despite the disappointing food, the atmosphere was commendable. The restaurant had a pleasant ambiance, with tasteful décor and a comfortable setting that made for a potentially enjoyable dining environment. The service, while not exceptional, was tolerable. The staff was reasonably attentive, though they seemed overwhelmed by the busy afternoon rush.

In conclusion, while the restaurant offers a good atmosphere and passable service, the quality of the chicken was a significant letdown. For an establishment of this repute, such issues are unacceptable. I hope they address these concerns promptly, ensuring future diners can enjoy the high standard of food one would expect from such a well-regarded venue. Don't come here. Worst service in India. Our waiter was extremely rude, we regret not just walking out. They had no paper drink menu, so Because of strobe lights their QR code wouldn't scan and their app was not downloadable. The man grabbed my phone from me! I gestured for him to give it back, and HE PUT HIS HAND IN NY FACE! He told ME to stop. THE WAITER WHO STOLE MY PHONE FROM ME, TOLD ME TO STOP. ME. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL. He wouldn't give it back when I asked. And kept flicking through my apps, for around 20 seconds before asking where the play store was. I WAS VERY ANGRY WITH THIS UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOUR. HOW DARE HE! Very unprofessional. Very unimpressed.

It was also, incredibly hot. I think there is AC here, but it wasn't doing enough. Super hot, even if you are only sitting, you will be sweating. The Music and dancing were pumping though. So if you want to be treated like scum, and extremely hot and sweating, this is the place for you. The service of this one staff member was terrible. Don't come here. Immediately he put us off. This place is way overpriced as well. 1000rp for 1 cocktail. Or around 335rp for one small beer. As well as a terrible, rude, staff member. Why put yourself through the misery. And be asked to pay a 10% tip. (So for one drink, you will be asked to pay 100rp) Lol. As if. We love tipping nice people. But oh my goodness, not him. I recently went to Agent's jack at SB road. The service was good, the captain was available all the time. We ordered not much from the food menu , it was extremely expensive, I mean I had been to FML quite a few times, they run the same BOGO offer on drinks as agent jacks but their food prices are moderate and you can order what you want without any hesitation. At agent jacks, If you are planning to order 4/5 dishes on your table, you will have to spend 5 to 6k for sure. You might get BOGO offers on the drinks but that's it . I only ordered one starter with a few drinks from their weekend menu, and believe me the starter wasn't really worth the price, the portion size was small. It's not worth the experience because yeah the ambience is pretty dark and greenish, you'll see those ugly green lights over every table, it's not an open air rooftop if you're looking for one. In the end , be ready to spend a bomb or be ready to order selectively after seeing the extreme price tags which really don't match the experience. The service charges are high, taxes too. It was a disappointing evening. If people do hang out once in a while , they should be able to enjoy without the extreme charges. And yes they do have a limited seating area. Go to FML if you wanna meet up with a friend after a long time for food and drinks. You'll end up spending max 2k for drinks, main course...
