Amrapali Bar and Restaurant — Restaurant in Pune

A hidden gem only well known to regular people. Located in the narrow lanes near Deccan Gymkhana. Outside you will see the name Hotel Ajit banquet. Inside there is an Amrapali bar. You can choose the table at ground /parking area or 1st floor or AC hall above as per you choice. We sat in AC which has screens as well for entertainment. Talking about the food that is the USP of the place. Especially sea food, whatever you try you will get awesome quality. Unfortunately pomfret was not available that day we tried bombay duck rawa fry, surmai tawa fry, prawns koliwada, rawas (salmon) tandoori, fish goan curry and rice. Everything was good especially the bombay duck fry which was my favorite. The bar is usually packed especially on weekends, so you may struggle to find a table and also be patient as the service is a bit slow mostly due to the rush. One of the best places to hangout chat and relax with your male friends, the food quality here is top notch, you can order anything on the menu and you won't be disappointed, the quality of food and taste is exceptionally great. My personal favorites are the kebabs and chicken masla with maida roti and jeera rice. They provide good complimentary items while you are having a good time. The staff is very friendly and takes good care of their customers. Currently this place is under renovation. Last year on April I post my review that the waiter and the manager's behavior was so bad that I stopped going here. After a year I come here again and the same manager behaved arrogantly. I just want a good seat but they did not and the manager asked me to not to visit this restaurant.
