Date of visit 26th October 2024
I was in the neighborhood, had heard about the Bipin Snacks before too but had not visited this place. So I decided to check the vibes and to know if the hype is worth to visit or not.
This is a very small place, where they cook and serve. Its exactly on the pedestrian path. The taste is really good but not matching the hype it has overall.
Atmosphere (3/5): Its an exactly a street joint/counter for maharashtrian breakfast. So no seatings, no standing counters to eat. Though the place is overcrowded you get your meal/food easily and in clean dishes. Receptacle for used dishes is frequently changed so there is cleanliness maintained despite being a street joint. Vibes are good as people are always there. But cant recommend this place for people who like to eat thier breakfast in peace and calm And absolutely no disturbance of course.
Food (4/5): It is a typical maharashtrian breakfast/snacks centre. And particularly a bit inclined towards the Puneri taste palate. The menu here is limited, but the rush here is quite high, so sometimes you might have tk wait for a couple of minutes more for your order. As the item keep finishing and they keep preparing fresh items simultaneously.
I had ordered Poha and Batatevada chutney combo.
Pohe (4/5): Pohe, I specially would say they are maharashtrian Pohe (पोहे) particularly Puneri (पुणेरी) taste and Not Indori poha. So definitely it has a sweeter taste and aftertaste too. But the pohe were soft, moist, properly cooked yet not sticky at all.
Batatevada (4/5): Vada was covered/dipped in thier signature green chutney. But yes it was good, full of flavors.
Chutney (4/5): Chutney was also really good. This hot n sweet green Chutney also have a bit of sweet taste and aftertaste. But it tastes good and balanced. But for some of their patrons they can have a bit of less sweet chutney.
Service (4/5): Its a street joint, so there is no question of it. But still the counter guys are fast, clean. The dishes and area is kept clean.
Overall, if you want to try out Bipin Snacks its a good joint. I recommend this "Puneri" nashta centre for puneri tatse palate and their signature hot n sweet...

I visited that place on Mahashivratri and as always people are almost dying to collect a dish full of Khichadi and Kakadi, and Upawas Misal. this restaurant serves up a Sabudana Khichadi experience like no other. As you get near this small shop, the tantalizing aroma of roasted peanuts, curry leaves, and cumin seeds fills the air, immediately whetting your appetite. आयुष्यात कधी कधी, hygine, वैगेरे वैगेरे... सगळं काही बाजूला ठेवला तर काय हरकत आहे.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the Sabudana Khichadi. This dish, made with tapioca pearls, is a celebration of textures and flavors. The perfectly cooked pearls are tossed with a medley of ingredients that create a symphony of tastes in every mouthful. The combination of fluffy pearls, crunchy peanuts, and fragrant cumin seeds creates a delightful contrast that keeps you coming back for more.
The freshness of the ingredients shines through in every bite. The softness of the pearls, the earthiness of the roasted peanuts, and the tangy notes of lemon juice come together harmoniously, elevating the dish to a whole new level. Bipin's expertise is evident in the balanced seasoning, ensuring that each ingredient stands out while complementing the others.
The service at this restaurant is top-notch, वेळ आली तर हातात पैसे घेऊन १५-२० मिनिट थांबावं लागत...
