Dadu's — Restaurant in Pune

Not accepting 2000 rs notes after buying sweets worts 1300. Ridiculous They are telling me at 10.00 pm that they don't have change and they want me to believe them. One of the leading sweet shop in Pune tells me that they don't have change at 10 in the night. Shameless people. Since now that you have checked the cctv footage you must have also seen that the cashier had a bunch of 200 denominations notes which he was not willing to give in return. Even if my bill value was 500 don't tell me that you don't have 1500 to give me back. I am not dumb to believe that. I saw that your cashier had change but he didn't give. I don't use upi or credit card because of all the new frauds going on. The only thing I expected is that when I am buying sweets worth 500 and giving you a 2000 rs note which is still acceptable, you should be very much capable of giving me 1500 back. I am not your 1st customer of the day. I am coming at 10 pm. Please talk some sense. Your cashier lied. He had change. I saw it. He just didn't want to accept 2000 rs note . You should be speaking to your cashier and telling him to stop lying to customer instead of defending him on...

It's been almost 5 years we are ordering sweets and snacks from dadu as their sweet section is good. But let me share the true feedback about their new opened restaurant.. 1. service was pathetic (1/5) reason: we asked them to serve starters first and then main course but they bought everything together after almost 30 mints.. when we asked why r you serving everything together as we specially asked to bring starters first. He replied kha li jiye sab warna thanda ho jayega.

We ordered paneer dish from the main course and imagine chef forget to cook the gravy. They served raw masala crazy with paneer. When we asked to taste the dish to the chef infront of us. Even he accepted that masala is too much and raw. They asked to replace it but we asked them to serve palak paneer instead because we have a kid with us and we can't take more risk. But palak paneer was pathetic. we had to throw palak paneer as well..

Suggestion: please don't try their resturant dish. It's pathetic more than that.. don't waste your money. Simply pathetic and kachara food they...

A bespoke Sweets Shop with wonderfully crafted sweets that are all a treat to the eye and the taste buds. An experience let down wholly by the downright pathetic quality of service by the staff behind the counter.

Went there twice in a row and bought sweets for a considerable sum of money far beyond what one expects too spend in an Indian Sweet Shop and yet I experienced such an apathetic response by the staff that I doubt there's going to a another visit from me anymore.

The people across the counter come across as lethargic and loathe to help or show interest in engaging with the customer. The second time around, the staff member was repeatedly asking me if I'm sure whether i want the particular sweets that i asked for since they will increase the cost, in spite of the fact that I'd already chosen more than Rs. 3K worth of sweets. After the umpteenth such question asked so condescendingly, I asked him if he's really interested in selling or not!!

The sweets may be good but the level of service expected from a seemingly high end shop is...
