Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale is a renowned name in the world of Indian sweets, and they continue to live up to their stellar reputation. Their shop on Baner Road, Pune, is a haven for sweet lovers, especially during the festive season. I recently visited the store to pick up some Bhakarwadi, Petha, and Ukadi Modak for the Ganesh Festival, and I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of their offerings.

The Bhakarwadi was perfectly crisp with a delightful balance of spices, while the Petha was soft, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The Ukadi Modak, a festival favorite, was simply divine β€” the rice flour shell was thin and delicate, encasing a deliciously sweet coconut filling. Every item showcased the craftsmanship and dedication to tradition that Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale is known for.

While the prices might be on the higher side, the quality of the sweets justifies the cost, making every bite worth it. Moreover, the shop owner is a humble and kind individual, making the shopping experience even more pleasant. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this shop is highly recommended for anyone with a sweet tooth. Don't miss out on their fantastic selection, especially during...

Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale in Baner is an absolute delight! Their mithai (sweets) and snacks are pure indulgence. The moment you step in, the aroma of freshly made treats fills the air, making you want to try everything. Their pedas are rich and melt-in-your-mouth, and the bakarwadis have a perfect balance of spices. The kandabhaji is a must-try; crispy and flavorful. The store's ambiance is warm and inviting, creating a pleasant shopping experience.

The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with suggestions. They make sure you leave with a smile on your face. The hygiene standards are excellent, ensuring the products are fresh and safe to consume.

Whether it's for festive celebrations or a quick treat, Chitale Bandhu Baner is the go-to place. The variety of mithai and snacks they offer is outstanding, and the taste is unmatched.

I highly recommend Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale in Baner to anyone who loves sweets and snacks. It's a hidden gem that will leave your taste buds satisfied and coming...

The staff and the fat man at the billing counter, talking disrespectfully & arrogantly with customers was annoying and ruined the overall experience of shopping at the store, and such bad behaviour with customers can only earn them negative ratings & congratulations to them, they earned a one star just now.

About the products too, I checked the manufacturing & expiry date of the Aaloo Bhujia Sev & noticed that the expiry date was in the same month which was going on, I didn’t check the dates on all other products, but was surprised when I checked it on the Aaloo Bhujia Sev’s packets, it seems like they’re selling old remaining stock of Chitale’s products...

Visited this place couple of days ago and it was truly a very nice experience. Lots of varieties of Indian and Traditional Marathi snacks and eateries are available here. Bhakarwadi and Chewda are the best ! Don't miss the amazing shreekhand ! Although the shop has a small area, there are myriad of things to shop for. They have a token system where a token is given to you according to the purchases you make. The customer service and interaction is very good and your bill and queries are addressed immediately.

The two Chitale branded chutney sachets which come with dhokla are grossly inadequate. The dhokla itself is a bit dry. So had to have "ketchup" with dhokla !!! Am not buying dhokla again! The kachori doesn't come with green chutney. Again the 2 small tamarind chutney sachets are inadequate. Not buying kachori too! Rest whatever I tried was great. Suralichi vadi is the best πŸ‘πŸ˜‹ πŸ˜‹ The Baner road branch is very efficient, quick working employees and the *shop is Not closed 1pm-4pm* πŸ˜ƒ
