Frozen Monkey — Restaurant in Pune

This is by far my favorite place in Pune. Good atmosphere, great food, and awesome crowd. Where do I begin, there is so much nicer to talk about this place. Let's start with the food. There is nothing that stands out, but none of the dishes will upset you and that's a big thing. The food is great, yeah, it depends on your taste, but I found it great. For the vegetarian, try the fire fries and for non-vegetarians, chicken chili, fish fingers, and Tawa tandoori chicken. Let's move on to the drinks. The long Island Iced tea is OK, they also have a pitcher for it. What I like most is the Patiala peg. This is something you should try, but let me remind you it's quite strong. Let's talk about the crowd. This place holds Bollywood night. I suppose it's on Friday, but maybe they play it all week long. And trust me, that's the best thing about this place. Every time I have been there the crowd along with the Bollywood DJ the atmosphere becomes magnificent and energetic. Everyone in this place enjoys it. Last time when I visited this place I remember perfectly that there was not a single table which didn't participate in dance. That fun and enjoyment I surely can't see at other places in Pune. All in all, I want to say that you must visit this place if you ever like Bollywood songs. I have gone to E-Square for movies at least 20-30 times if not less and would have definitely seen the Frozen Monkey advertisement same number of times during the movies screening at E-Square. But, I can't really understand what took me so long to visit such an amazing place.

To begin with, the ambiance of place is awesome to say the least. It gives the feel of a very fine dine, but when you look at the price of drinks and eatables, you are in for a sweet surprise as they are not so expensive, rather very pocket friendly.

Coming onto food, we tried a lot of appetizers and all of them were presentable and delicious. We started with Mexican Nachos, which were by far the best nachos I have had in town. Same goes for Potato wedges which were temptingly yummy and crispy. These were followed by Stuffed Mushrooms, which tasted very different, though definitely worth a try. We also ordered a Fresh Garden Vegetables Pizza, which was very near to Italian taste and was not Indian-ised to suit OUR taste buds..

My non vegetarian friends ordered Chiptole Honey Baked Wings and The Healthy Monkey and they seemed to be very quietly enjoying it... :) :)

Must to mention, the service quality at the place was also greatttt..All in all, a great place with a great ambiance and a great theme..You will definitely feel good...

We went to the Shivaji Nagar one. It was my birthday. The ambience is great! Not too dark, not too bright. Music is not too loud either. You can hear people if they want to talk. A complete lounge like feeling.

Drinks are economic and food is priced a little extravagantly but great food! Some signature dishes are great and can not be found anywhere else. Please try gorilla and/or monkey nuts. There is another dish which has something to do with toasts also. I forgot the name(sorry!).

They have towers at 825 only! Works with Zomato gold membership and you can get offers on food so it is affordable.

It was a great experience. The service could be improved a little in the management side. Service at the table is great and the waiters are very friendly and will assist you in the best possible way.

They have a designated smoking zone so stoners, do not do it. Smokers, have a good time!
