Whenever there are any plans for a brunch on Sunday’s or any dining plans specially made up for the non-veg food.…. The love for Sea food always stays on top. Thats the 1st thing which comes into mind and no one would even refuse the thought. I had seen this place from outside a lot of times and always though that the place looks weird and shady from the outside. Yet, I planned up and Went to this amazing place on a Sunday afternoon after being insisted on trying this one from my special one 💜. We both went here to try out their special sea food… and as soon as we saw the entrance … there was this huge crab model hanging down the roof which looked really very attractive as they had love crabs over displays for their customers so one can enjoy the fresh crabs. 😍 After entering this restaurant , the ambience from the inside is nothing compared to the outside look of the restaurant. The place is nothing less than a 5 star hotel , i can assure . They do serve liquor in there, specially wine… they have a in-house sophisticated BAR. They have such a wonderful display of the fresh fish cut down into pieces kept over ICE … this way people can easily trust that their dish is fresh from the sea. They 2 floor for the seating area - which includes a ground floor seating area and an upper seating area as well. We chose the upper seating area where again there was this compartment for couples where 2 tables were adjusted in … so that couples could spend their own beloved time. We had ordered 2 starters - King Fish (Surmai) tandoor chatpata & Rawas tandoor Banjara . Both the dishes were extremely good and delicious… the fish just melted in our mouth as soon as we took the bites . They had served us with some chutneys … pudina and another was a bit spicy with some herbs and garlic . Both the chutneys were amazing . You can also go for SOL KADHI here , which is a quite famous dish from KONKAN area . The fishes tasted really yummm. Its a must visit for those who seek fresh sea food dishes in pune… aa they cant travel every time near sea body to satisfy the cravings . This is the right place for you. I recently visited Hotel Nisarg, a place I’ve been frequenting for 15 years without any complaints or need for reviews, but this visit was a stark disappointment. It began when I called ahead to ensure a smooth experience, only to find that it made no difference. Upon arrival, we were greeted (if you can call it that) by the manager whose demeanor was anything but hospitable. While waiting, we observed him blatantly disrespecting the queue, allowing certain individuals to bypass others, which felt highly unprofessional. I tried to ignore it, but it set a poor tone for the visit. When I requested a menu, which should ideally be offered voluntarily, the manager rudely pointed to the table, claiming the menus were there. Ironically, they weren’t, making the situation even more awkward. His behavior wasn’t isolated either; he was equally rude to a family next to us, even arguing in front of children, showing a total lack of professionalism. Once seated on the ground floor, my mother asked for a washbasin, and shockingly, she was directed to use the gents’ restroom to wash her hands. This lack of basic facilities for women was unacceptable, and it seems the upper floor had similar issues. The food was another letdown. Despite their famed seafood, the surmai was off-tasting, though the bombil and crab soup were decent. They missed the last call for drinks for my friend at 2:45 PM and ended up serving us chicken handi in Malvani curry by mistake, which felt careless. Even the basmati rice was poorly cooked. Overall, this experience was a stark departure from what I’ve known about Hotel Nisarg. The manager’s behavior, lack of basic facilities, and operational inefficiencies indicate a need for a serious management overhaul. The hospitality industry thrives on customer satisfaction, and Hotel Nisarg has clearly forgotten that principle.

The best place for seafood delivered its best. This place is known for the sea food, they have a wide menu for sea food, fish was fresh cooked at perfection and tastes best. We ordered Rawas for a change. Known for the taste and fresh fished served by this place made best out of it. We selected whole fish that was prepared in a variety. Detail on preparation: Tandoor / barbeque: very mildly spiced, cooked with butter enhanced original taste of fish we can taste intense taste and spices were just complementing the original taste. Main gravy: we selected traditional coconut based gravy again mildly spiced and goes best with rice. Again coconut, tangy kokam and mild red spices uplift the taste of fish. We selected amboli bypassing rice or roti, the curry was quickly absorbed by spongy texture and goes very well with the intense taste of the fish. I know apart from usual simple reviews, fish reviews always go in detail and specific as cooking fish is a skill. Anyways, no matter if you know fish taste well or just prefer fish over meat, select your favorite or known fish (or you can ask for recommendations) they make it with perfection. I must highlight that we never touched salt, paper or lime, caption noted taste preference perfectly, fully delivered by the chef. This is a sign of perfection and this place is the best in it. It is indeed an upscale place, offers valet parking and a nice ambience buy deep on pocket which it worth for. Must try for the upscale experience. As it's famous for fish, too much veg guys on the table can spoil the party. All stars for this place, must try. Keep up the good work.

If you're a seafood lover in Pune, look no further than Nisarg Seafood Special—an unparalleled destination that promises a dining experience like no other. Often hailed as the one and only stop for the freshest seafood, this fine dining resto-bar has truly set the standard for seafood enthusiasts in the city.

From the moment you step in, the ambiance at Nisarg immediately sets the tone for a delightful evening. The excellent menu boasts a superb variety of dishes, all prepared with an unwavering commitment to freshness and quality—guaranteed 100%.

As a family, we have become huge fans of this establishment and for good reason. The hospitality is second to none, and the attentive service adds to the overall joy of dining here. Each visit is a testament to their dedication to providing an unforgettable experience from start to finish.

Now, let’s talk about the food! The Squid Salt and Pepper is an absolute must-try; I firmly believe you won’t find better squid anywhere else in the city. The Surmai Chatpatta is bursting with flavor, while the Crab Soup is a warm hug in a bowl. The Prawns Raw Fry delivers a delightful crunch, and the Bombil Koliwada is simply heavenly. For those looking to indulge, the Lobster Butter Garlic is a decadent treat, while the Crab Ghee Roast packs a punch that will leave you wanting more.

Don’t miss out on their curries! The Maratha Malwani and Konkani Red Curry pair superbly with your choice of fish, creating a symphony of flavors that reflects the rich coastal heritage of the region.

And to conclude your meal, the Solkadi is a must-have. This refreshing drink not only cleanses the palate but also touches your soul, leaving you blissfully happy.

Overall, I can confidently say that Nisarg Seafood Special deserves a perfect 10/10. It’s the only restaurant in Pune that truly impresses in every aspect—freshness, taste, service, and atmosphere. For anyone looking to indulge in a seafood dining experience, Nisarg is a gem that should...
