reviewforimprovement #peshwaidininghall #BadamikarCatering Yesterday I visited Peshwai Dining Hall, near SP college based on so many reviews which were posted on this group. But, I was very disappointed. I had reserved table in one day advance. Our group of 9 people reached right on time. But, we got table almost 1 hr late. It was too much rush and administration to allocate tables was not right at all. I was continuously requesting the admin to arrange table as there were little kids with us and they were very hungry. But.. still it was 1 hr past my reservation time.. almost it was 2.30 PM.. Crazy thing is, the person who was incharge of allocating table was telling people which table they should sit after first people are done eating.. so all the people in waiting were standing next to the table... it felt like visiting a wedding venue .. people holding chairs..and waiting for their turn.. I was super mad at that chaos.. and literally it was not less than Mandai chaos.. people shouting..angry..holding chairs... Ambience killed mood to have lunch at that place.. I won't be going there forever now.. but.. some improvement points I would like to give to owner.. Have more experienced staff to hold the fort for people in waiting.. there was absolutely no one downstairs to take care of guests.. don't book ther tables more than 80% at same time.. . Have more experienced staff to serve food.. it took forever to serve roti, subji... we asked 3 times and waited during our lunch for food to get served. Even spoons were not provided until we asked atleast 3-4 times.. . Think of some arrangements when you are serving big groups.. people just sit after lunch chatting even though they can see rush and so many people waiting next to their tables.. as a owner it's your responsibility to let them know..
Anyways..Food taste was good. But, I was so disturbed by ambience, I won't go there at all again.. Owner did appologize for inconvenience again and again.. but.. still I wouldn't want...

Authentic maharashtrian dishes. Few other dishes as per majority of the people likings included such as dahi wada, one Punjabi subji, samosa, etc. Which are not at all overpowering the maharashtrian taste.
Room for improvement for the serving staff, but NO ARROGANCE observed as most of the reviews I read.
In summers, the waiting area can be upstairs or pleasant seating with fans can be added.
Value for money with quality food.
Very hygienic and healthy food.
Mostly crowded due to space crunch so go early to save time.
Overall a good space to eat simple, fresh and hygienic yet...
