Roopali - After a long period of time , I felt like visiting the so called gem of FC ROAD pune … where people would definitely go out for Evening snacks and morning breakfasts. Even i have visited this place a lot of times in the past but this place use to be a lot more fun when they didn’t have their set of rules for the restaurant . Late in 2005 etc . I know that people already love this place a lot , but there are few people who find few things missed out in here but hesitate to mention them… so i will bring honest opinions for how i felt . Unfortunately , this time the experience was not good at all. Thought the food was as tasty as it use to be always . But the service was not adequate and upto the standards . The staff was not that welcoming . They were all in some or the other kind of hurry … like just running here and there all the time and not finding time to even get the menu card——— until it was being asked . Further, they didn’t have a tissue box over the table . The tables were not even cleaned properly and had stains (talking about hygiene).

3 things (RULES) that i didn’t like at all - -They have a ladies washroom , but its locked … and the waiters cant even get you the keys . Until you yourself go to the counter and ask for it . -They also have rule that if person are only going to order tea and coffee , they are not allowed to sit inside even if the premises are vacant . —Don’t sit at their premises or restaurant for a long time . Once your done eating , please move out .

They don’t even have a Parking space as such for the vehicles . People cant just go there to spend time , they can only visit if they just have to eat food .

Sorry , but i feel things things need to be improved … customers like being welcomes and served and treated good . Unfortunately , this was not what o felt like when i entered the place . Moreover had to face...

It is one amongst the most go to restaurants in FC. I was here with my friends and though I didn't click any pictures (was too hungry, hehe) here's a detailed review about a few items that we tried. -Cheese masala dosa: It was good. It was quite thin and crisp. But aloo masala was less. -Rava masala dosa : I think all the dosa here are quite the same. Very thin and ekdam crisp. They give the same stuffing, less in quantity and also a little bland. The aloo stuffing could have been more delicious. -Cheese sandwich : like any regular cheese sandwich. Not grilled, basic and yum. -Puri bhaji : Comfort food so I had to order this. It was disappointing because I could see the same bhaji that they used as aloo stuffing in dosa and I like my bhaji to have spices, flavours but this came a little bland. Tomato onion uttapam: This was good. Nice, big pieces of tomato. Uttapam was thick yet perfectly cooked. Loved the texture.

For drinks we had: -Mosambi Juice: If you're thinking how someone can go wrong here; well they did. It wasn't up to the mark. -Cold Coffee: I liked how it had a strong taste of coffee and felt fresh but it was not thick enough. Maybe you like it that way but if you also enjoy THICK cold coffee then this can be disappointing. Mix Fruit Shake: This was delicious. You could taste different fruits in every sip and some granules of fruits as well. This is worth trying.

Overall: they have to work on hygiene. I know it's always crowded but you can't compromise on sanitation. Rest. It's a good place to try out different dishes at a...

Roopali Hotel - A Bustling Pune Gem

Roopali Hotel, nestled along the bustling FC Road in Pune, is a constant hive of activity, attracting a diverse crowd of patrons. Our visit was nothing short of delightful, thanks to the exceptional and prompt service that left us thoroughly impressed.

The culinary journey at Roopali was a gastronomic adventure. We indulged in a variety of dishes, each one a testament to their culinary prowess. From the aromatic puri kurma to the sweet indulgence of puri shrikhand, and the savory delight of veg cutlet to the cheesy goodness of cheese dosa, every bite was a burst of flavors.

A highlight of the experience was the must-try medium-strong filter coffee, which provided the perfect accompaniment to our meal. The taste of the food was undeniably good, and it's easy to see why Roopali Hotel remains a favorite gathering spot for both locals and college students.

The staff at Roopali are a credit to the establishment - polite, well-mannered, and impeccably attired. Their hospitality extended beyond just serving food; they even suggested great spots for our group photos, adding a personal touch to our dining experience.

In conclusion, Roopali Hotel holds a special place in the hearts of many, and after our visit, it's easy to understand why. It's a place where the love for food, excellent service, and warm hospitality converge to create memorable dining experiences. We simply adore this place and will cherish the memories made here with family...

Went to finally checkout what all the buzz about the place was. It was decently crowded for breakfast and almost all tables were occupied by 9am. The sign outside that says Cash or Card only is a huge turnoff in this digital era and especially during pandemic. Grow up guys, don't get stuck with age-old traditions and processes. You need to meet customer's expectations and convenience. Menu is widespread and loved, I mean absolutely' loved the Dahi Wada and Ghee plain dosa. Arguably the best dishes I have had anywhere in that area. Kudos for this. The tea served is in paper cups and is atleast 150 or 200 ml and not too less quantity. Also you can get tea and coffee here only if you order some food along with it. Follows covid protocols and cleans and disinfects surfaces after customers leave. Very helpful and humble staff who are attentive to the needs. Why low rating then? - Restaurants are supposed to be clean and hygienic, not just the tables and service area. The kitchen and food storage area requires pest control as there were small cockroaches running over the covers of sandwich breads (though it was covered). And this is a turnoff if you're especially a cleanliness freak.

Roopali Hotel on FC Road is a fantastic place for a delicious and satisfying meal. The food here is truly impressive, with great taste and authentic flavors that make every dish enjoyable. Whether you're craving South Indian delicacies or a quick snack, their menu offers a variety of options that never disappoint. The service is also commendable—fast, efficient, and courteous. The staff is well-trained and ensures that customers have a pleasant dining experience. Another highlight of this place is its cleanliness and disciplined atmosphere, making it a comfortable spot for families, friends, and solo diners alike. Overall, Roopali Hotel is a great choice if you're looking for quality food, good service, and a well-maintained dining environment. Definitely worth a visit!
