Would have given good rating but due to the following reasons I m forced to give such ratings. This is an honest review.
1)Not a customer escentric place. For them customer is not dat valuable nor they listen or care about customers.
2)Drinking water tasted like borewell water.
3)One of the worst thing was the manager who was taking d orders after telling him give us some space n time to order he was just standing over the head n didn't bother that the family n ladies wanted to discuss n tk time to think n order .we had to rush orders becoz he was not moving nor cared n gave us dat space to think n order smoothly.
4)Puran poli was Yummy..vry vry tasty but was highly priced 1 pc -150/- n worst was milk given with it was not warm n was tasting watery ,even the child wid us complainted n felt dat.
4)Had asked for spicy Pitla which was not at all spicy but was vry tasty had they made it spiceier ratings wud hv changed. Bhareli Vangi was too tasty n so 1 rating for it only..
5)Butter over bhakris or rotis or naan didn't from any angle tasted like amul butter .
6)Punjabi FOOD WOULDNT RECOMMEND AT ALL ...I guess they aren't good wid it specially gravy part.
We requested the manager that Veg Maratha was smelling different was curd added in it or like what? He said d "CHEF" says we mk it n serve this way only nothg cud be done..
To be vry frank it was pathetic we cudnt eat it..IT was so so bad.yalk is d word.m sorry bt they didnt bother hw much food we were ordering n we requested it to b md either good or do something which wud enhance their own quality n ratings but they said sorry😱if this wud hv been changed or replaced or got us something nice THE RATINGS WOULD hv been 4 FOR SURE..As my family loved Vaangi n Pitla though it wasnt spicy..
7)Do NOT TRY PANEER Thecha in starter .Thecha was not covering paneer properly n hd not taste nor d paneer was soft or malai one.
8)Masale bhath as per price NOT Recommended. It was tasting vry vry basic..Tondli was raw not crunchy or cooked nicely..
9)Masss wadi wasn't good at all. aalu wadi n kothmir wadi were ok ok..We had ordered "MIX WADI" in starter which didn't turn up dat great..NOT RECOMMENDED
The BEST were WAITER'S very quick service bt punjabi food n the Manager - Had he worked out nicely n been thoughtful about doing something about the veg maratha as we had ordered alot of food it wud have helped their own business.
We had requested the road side viewing place but they didn't manage to arrange two tables horizontally..easily they could have tried.
We wanted to order rest of things but after veg maratha n the reply from chef we serve this way only we thought to end our meal .
We just don't go once .We keep billing again n again n after my this experience I wouldn't choose this place atleast for food Specially for family. The prices are vry high - Bhakris 60-80.
I guess if they only keep maharashtrian food in menu or get good punjabi gravy expert n play wid b prices n make it budget friendly
I can assure the business will yield super fast if they focus really on what all is mentioned n work out nicely.
Pitla n Vangi were really awesome but not spciy.. Need AC atleast on upside floor as the onions from kitchen were burning eyes n we had complainted for that . Becoz it was uncles birthday I cudnt approach the counter n speak about the above or else I would have spoken yesterday itself. And the lady at the counter didn't seem intrested even to check the customers reaction...
Read moreWith three floors of seating, this apparently new add-on to FC Road's existing plethora of restaurants serving south Indian specialities (Wadeshwar, Roopali, Vaishali, etc), intrigued me.
For a name like "Peshwa", I was expecting items like Kothimbir Wadi, Dadape Pohe and Pav Bhaji to be there on the menu, apart from Missal Pav.
However I was quite disappointed.
The interiors, the theme and the uniform of the attendants however contradicted the look and feel of a Peshwan era and the only solace came from the photos of sketches of the mighty man that adorned the walls.
Service was a little tardy and while I did not experience the tardiness, I however did notice other orders being brought to the table after quite a while.
The highlight of my visit here is however the Sambar that came with my regular choice of Idli and Medu Wada.
Absolutely delicious and one of those greedy moments when I throw etiquettes out of the window and almost wipe the bowl clean.
The freshly scrapped coconut Chutney tasted a little different from the standard chutneys and the Wada was crisp on the outside and soft in the inside. The Idli disappointed me. It was brittle rather than soft and spongy.
We also ordered a Cheese Onion Utappa and while that to did not disappoint, I was however amused that they choose to charge for extra cheese when ideally they could form a stronger customer relation by going an extra mile.
Street parking for sure as the restaurant is located on busy FC Road.
Do not be taken up by the misleading standee outside the entrance. It is a pure vegetarian restaurant while the standee however advertises a large delicious ham sandwich!
Prices are reasonable and the restaurant is not in the least expensive.
However, having said this, Peshwa does not appear differently from other restaurants but is merely a glorified snacks bar on one of Pune's most busiest and most...
Read morePeshwa is a pure veg Indian restaurant situated on FC road. They serve authentic Maharashtrian cuisine all day. Peshwa known best for its Misal Pav is not serving different misal but it also serves Italian, South Indian, Chinese and North Indian cuisine. The food here is tasty. The menu is good to choose from as per your cravings. The quick bites and the breakfast menu is different from the main course menu. . A perfect family restaurant for lunch and dinner outings. The place is cool, calm and comfortable. The ambiance is pretty and simple. They have upstairs seating too that occupies more than 100 ppl. You can throw a small party or get together here. Comfortable seating with a perfect street view and good food.
I ordered
Juices and mocktails - It was soothing and refreshing.
Misal (mamledar) - Not a common matki misal but ordinary spicy misal with potato, green peas, farsan, raw chopped onions, and tomato. You can add spice as per your taste.
Alu wadi and kothimbir wadi - All time favorite snack of maharastra. This was perfectly cooked and spicy too. Aluchi Vadi is prepared from colocasia leaves rolled in chickpea flour, steamed and then pan-fried. Kothimbirichi Vadi is made with cilantro leaves.
Suralichi wadi and mas wadi - Suralichi wadi also known as khandvi. Suralichi Vadi is a savory snack made from gram flour and yogurt. It consists of yellowish, tightly rolled bite-sized pieces.
Pav bhaji - Pav bhaji is a fast food dish consisting of a vegetable curry served with a soft bread roll
Moong dosa - they are also serving some really Healthy Bites. Don't forget to order one.
Paneer tikka - Paneer tikka masala good served with Roti or naan.
