#negativereview This review goes to Bhagat Tarachand located at Laxmi Road. Me and my family members went there for dinner. The food was ok but the service was worst.
All other things are fine but, what about hygiene? We were sitting and when we were about to finish with our dinner,I realised that something sticky thing has stuck to my chappals. I looked down and there was a glue rat pad stuck to my chappals and it had a alive rat on that pad. Isn't it horrible ? We had my sister's 6 months baby with us. Imagine what would have happened if that rat had done anything to him. Atleast, they could have given us idea that they have kept such thing there. They didn't even bother to tell us that.
After this scenario, we went to the manager and told everything to him. But, he was not even ready to accept their mistake. He gave us explanation that there is a lift room somewhere around so it could have happened. Also, he said 'discount chahiye to muh pe bolo na, ye rat ka karan kyun dete ho? Aukat nahi hai to mat do paise' Isn't it rude and pathetic? How could people do these mistakes and not accept it? How could people play with other's lives? How could people talk like this when they're in the food industry?
Indeed,we didn't expect any discount from them even apologies would be fine. But,they didn't even apologize.
Overall Rating 0/5 (I could rate them in minus also) Food - 3/5 Ambiance - 2/5 Hygiene - I will not even talk about it. Service -...
Read moreFirst visit with family, have basically been brought up at laxmi road, still never visited the place once before today. Maybe because going to the second floor for a place to sit and eat in city, a thought.
Ordered the bhendi masala and paneer butter masala for my kid Rating - Paneer butter masala 4*- taste was good, sweety taste that my kid enjoyed, so did I. Bhendi masala 2* - a few bites in encountered a 3mm stone in the preparation. Appreciate the captain, he arranged for a. Replacement. 2.1 Bhendi pyaaz 2*- 2 bites and same issue, a smaller stone. Not sure if it was the gravy or the bhendi, mood off. Chapati 4* - excellent chapatis, plain simple and tasty. Thank God tandoor rotis were not available.
Good - Food taste is excellent, can see the quality preparation yourself. Staff - this is a surprise, a pleasant and well mannered staff. Ambience - you will not feel sitting inside that the city is running past you.
Bad- As mentioned above, preparation without small pebbles will help. Twice the pebble, twice the bad
Final rating -3* with scope for improvement, will visit again, for the food, which i hope is good.
Bonus - as a mood pleaser got a plate of Gulab Jamun on the house, taste was heavenly, plus who doesn't like a freebie. One reason i want to visit again as they changed the customer mindset from poor to decent. I would prefer going to a decent...
Read moreSahana Veg Restaurant is now where I believe Bhagat Tarrachand existed before Covid and situated on the 2nd Floor which is accessible via a lift.
This is probably the best and the cleanest restaurant in the entire Tulsi Baug area where one can easily get tired shopping for hours. We chose Sahana after skipping almost 5 other restaurants in the area and the decision was definitely the best.
It was very airy and pleasant and bright ambience with down-toned colors and the entire place was spik and span. The staff were very well groomed and attentive to every need. One would seldom expect such customer service in the middle of a shopping district. Food is beyond expectation. I have never tasted such great vegetarian food in near times and I didnt expect the place to also ace the Chinese version of Crispy Fried Vegetables. It was just delicious. Even Okra fry was beyond words and juicy and crispy at the same time. Also had the chance to binge upon some special Shikari rotis or something and comes as a pair and its loaded with butter and so soft to munch upon. I never eat rotis regularly but I ordered these thrice to my surprise. If in the Tulsi Baug area, look no where else to go for your meals but to Sahana itself. Well worth every single...
