Starbucks — Restaurant in Pune

Ok so I am going to say it now! Starbucks has to be the most hyped coffee shop EVER!!! This is review is for Starbucks as a brand and not a specific store.

Before reading this review note that it's my opinion. I have an appropriate knowlegde about coffee and there is coffee and then there is Starbucks who sells you a milkshake in the name of a coffee.

The drink in the photo is the limited edition tiramisu Frappuccino. It was so bad and over rated. It literally just had caramel sauce, milk and ice more than coffee. I don't like other Starbuck's coffee variants as well. Its like I can brew a better coffee at home man.

A few years back, I was literally star-struck when starbucks came to India. Every American singer had sung the brands name in their songs and i was having a FOMO. When I had my first Starbuck's drink which was Java Chip Frappuccino I was like I paid so much for this milkshake. After that I gave this brand a lot of chances as I thought it has to be me cz how can I alone not like STARBUCKS.

Well now after talking to people I know that lot of people think like me. There are many small businesses and cafes in Pune that roast, crush and brew coffee so amazingly well than Starbucks does.

I usually like Starbucks and being a regular there are expectations in terms of consistency in level of customer service. I was sorely disappointed with this particular branch only for the customer service met out. One, they had run out of the featured beverage ( and I had a featured beverage reward I wanted to redeem!) . Anyways understood. What really miffed me off was what happened after. I had asked for a drink and requested that the ice not be blended. I got a drink with blended ice. When I raised this issue to the guy who served me he explained that they don't have a whole ice version. That's surprising given all you need to do is add whole ice cubes instead of crushed ice. Let's say that's not possible, why wasn't I informed of this when placing an order? I would have either opted for another drink or just give off. I asked them to remake my drink without the crushed ice but that didn't result in much. In the end I swapped my drink with my friend. As I was walking out , I saw this board that said " ... we'll always make it right". Looks like the staff forgot that's the motto of Starbucks... disappointed. Starbucks has long been a go-to for remote workers and casual meetups, and my recent visit for some company work, accompanied by their Signature Hot Chocolate, reinforced why.

I found a comfortable spot, plugged in my laptop, and was able to dive right into my tasks without feeling out of place. The general buzz of the place, rather than being a distraction, seemed to aid in concentrating on my work.

Of course, no Starbucks experience is complete without a drink, and the Signature Hot Chocolate was a delightful choice. It was rich, creamy, and perfectly sweet—a comforting treat that made the work feel a little less like work. It's definitely a step above your average hot cocoa, offering that familiar Starbucks quality.

Overall, Starbucks continues to be a solid option for those needing a change of scenery while working. The combination of a comfortable workspace and a comforting beverage like the Signature Hot Chocolate makes it a worthwhile destination for both productivity and a bit...
