We ordered Lucknowi sheekh and turkee boti kababs Swiggy. Yesterday this restaurant wasn't available on any food delivery platform. Today available on one of them after waiting for over an hour for a delivery which site claimed at 42 min, the food wasn't up to the mark. The spices weren't Lucknowi, the food was cold, the marinade was sweet. Sheekh had tomato sauce! The boti a mishy-mashy similar thing in brown. Ended up with upset stomach. The meat seemed to be over tenderised. I hope the owners take notes. The last bastion of quality non veg in this part of the city is shattered. Earlier it was one of the best. UPDATE: since food was bad, site refunded 70% (better than none). As for rest owner called up and sought to pick up balance food to understand and made good the remaining loss in payment by sending one dish - Biryani. Don't like taking freebies, so ordered one more. The quantity, taste, raw materials were good; with a mere slight difference between the two - free and paid. No restaurantuer in Pune atleast admits to mistakes. The assumption being that without reason Swiggy orderers seek refund - maybe some do - the site would be tagging such I hope. Point to note maybe that pickup food yourself or get it delivered by restaurant. FURTHER UPDATES: swiggy played a swindle and kept the so called 70% refund by creating a special coupon of the amount, but not telling that it can be used only once. Total loss of 660/- to me and the restaurant....
Read moreI must say that I got tricked by the ratings for this restaurant. It fails the most important aspect of food, taste! You can see and taste that your dish is indulging and the chef has used all rich ingredients but something feels amiss. We had been to their outlet in Aundh for lunch. It's located in prime area, right next to Starbucks. We sat inside; they have outdoor seating as well. The place is beautifully decorated but poorly lit so appears slightly depressing. Also the tables are small and very close to each other; it feels slightly claustrophobic at first. Service can be better; not that the staff is rude but felt like they could be more professional. We wanted to have Murg Tangdi Kulfi but the waiter told it would take long so ordered Murg Makrana. I did overhear him telling the same to an adjecent table when they wanted to order the same dish. For Murg Makrana, meat was well cooked but there were chunks of uncooked masala that spoiled the taste. Another strange thing that we noticed was regarding biryani menu; for a place that is supposedly famous for 'biryani and kebabs', there was only one option for Chicken biryani. It tasted average and was boneless. Overall it felt that this restaurant does not really...
