This is my favourite place for sizzlers. The sizzler with a tasty garlic and pepper sauce combination, paired with crispy fries, creates a delightful and savory experience. The sizzling sound adds a sensory element, enhancing the anticipation. The garlic and pepper sauce provides a flavorful kick, balancing well with the sizzled meat or vegetables. The crispy fries add a satisfying crunch, completing the dish with a mix of textures. Overall, it's a well-rounded and enjoyable combination for those who appreciate a delicious blend of flavors and textures.Adding a chilled beer to the sizzler elevates the experience. The refreshing and effervescent quality of the beer complements the savory flavors, creating a harmonious balance. The cold beverage contrasts with the warmth of the sizzler, enhancing the overall dining pleasure. It's a perfect addition for those looking to enhance their meal with a refreshing and complementary beverage. Certainly, the versatility of sizzlers allows for a wide range of options, both in vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices. Vegetarians can enjoy sizzlers with an assortment of grilled vegetables, paneer, while non-vegetarians have the option of sizzling meats like chicken, lamb, or beaf. The variety of sauces, from garlic and pepper to barbecue or teriyaki, further expands the flavor options. This diversity ensures that there's a sizzler combination for every palate, making it a versatile and appealing choice for a...
Read moreWe ordered Chicken Satay and Fish n Chips for starters, along with cold coffee for us and sweet lime soda for kids. For mains we ordered two sizzlers, Chicken Italiano and Bounty Basket.
The starters were accompanied by not so great dips. While quantities were generous, the chicken and fish both were a bit overdone.
The Chicken Italiano sizzler was just about ok in taste. The chicken pieces again were overdone, while the rest of the components were ok. The sauce here was quite spicy.
The Bounty Basket was under the kids section of the menu. It comprises spaghetti, veggies and french fries in an extremely bland sauce, topped with three huge balls of cheese flavoured chicken.
For dessert we asked for two servings of the sole option - caramel custard. This was great in taste. So we asked for two more servings thereafter.
In terms of ambience, there are three seating options - open air, indoors ground floor and indoors terrace. We were seated on the third. The place was crowded and while we were lucky to get a table quickly, there were other patrons who had to wait for free table.
Like with any sizzler place there was a lot of noise and smoke at all times. The decor itself was quite interesting.
The service team was polite and helpful, though quite hassled and somewhat bumbling and slow.
Overall, I think the management needs to look into the quality of the dishes given that this is such a...
Read moreWent for late lunch at 3:30 PM. The gentleman Rajkumar greeted us in way you wouldn't want to be, announcing that we are late and nothing is available except sizzlers. Well, that's alright, but how he conveyed the info left more to be asking. Nonetheless, we requested a sizzler and he said it's not available. Now, nothing except sizzlers are available and the first sizzler we ordered was unavailable. Mr Rajkumar was not amused - he stared at us as in apathy. We ordered some different sizzler. When it came, we lost our appetite. Like the gentleman, the food had no taste. We half-heartedly dug our forks for 7 odd bites and then asked for the bill. Too busy catering to no one, Mr. Rajkumar had the courage to ask if we needed any desserts, despite looking at the near full sizzler plate, to which we replied "no, sir" and the bill came.
I don't know if this the taste you dig, but this was my second visit in the last 1 year and although food on first time was manageable, the second time it was a disaster. There are better sizzler places around like Independence and The Palace. I have come to believe that people who eat sizzlers here either get a sizzler from a different pan or they need to up their taste and move out.
Special credits to Mr. Rajkumar for being the special part of the day.
