I wanted to try a new place so ended up here after shopping on 17th march for dinner.
Late but detailed review coming up.
The decor is elegant and tasteful.
The restaurant and spread is rather huge unlike Mosaic, Carmine, Senses or even Pune14 for that matter.
The lightning was suble creating a warm atmosphere.
But the manner in which our table was handled left a bad taste and didn't make us feel welcoming.
Firstly cons: * Captain, chefs and staff kept on visiting the table that was next to us but couldn't bother checking on us.
We were not even informed about where to get breads. They couldn't care to ask if roti's etc were required for main course. Had to eat Indian food with only rice.
*At the live stir-fry section, same tongs were used for both veg and non-veg dumplings.
Although when I enquired about that they said that tongs were different. Nevertheless, there was only one serving spoon at that counter.
How can they do that being a 5 star restaurant, it's astonishing.🚫
*Coming to Dessert section, The restaurant is visited by a lot of foreigners and there were just 2-3 tongs at the dessert section and obviously foreigners wouldn't care about what's with egg or eggless, so they were mixing every item with one tong. ❌
There are people who are allergic to eggs btw. What about them!!! 🤯
Other 5-star restaurants have tongs for each and every dessert, fortunately..
Since we had opted for buffet we were told tissues and finger bowl aren't available for us, as if we weren't paying enough? They did give both, reluctantly. They need to know that not everyone wants to use cloth napkin❕
Even billing took so much time, it's as if we were invisible to them, all the while they were chatting with our neighbors on both the sides.
Now coming to the pros: There were plethora of veg options. Starters were great, couple of options there. In live counter chole kulcha was so good, close to the one I have had in Delhi👍 The one heating them was so courteous.
Pasta was alright. I asked for tiny quantity which they didn't abide which resulted in wastage which I detest.
Stir fry veggies lacked salt. Again, too much quantity and what a waste. They probably forgot that I was at table 33 and took too much too serve❗
Dumplings were decent. Sushi was good enough. Veg Soup was abysmal and so was the main course in Asian section and western section except garlic fried rice.
Took tablespoon of everything for tasting and realized Indian was rather good, especially the pulao and malai paneer was decent enough. Didn't have cabbage poriyal. Salads were fine, hummus was yum.
For desserts I had to ask for a new serving spoon, for obvious reasons❕ The sweets were fab. There was a pista pastry or something that was amazing. Chocolate cake was decent.
All the Indian sweets were yummy except malpua. Malpua tasted like it had been made in an utensil that was used to cook Asian or some weird dish..it taste so awful. Rabri was ok. I couldn't eat though. I don't remember if there were any sugar-free or vegan desserts.
But rest of the items were all good 👌👏 They had many varieties in 🍨🍧 as well. I loved cotton candy the most. I tried one tiny scoop of each but didn't much like amalgamation of 🍓and banana. That ended on a sweet note but
Overall food was good but experience in it's entirety was still disappointing because of various factors so didn't feel like taking...

Read moreLong review ⚠️ Went to the market yesterday for lunch. This was my second visit to this resto. Reached very late at around 3pm since our doctor's appointment ran long so didn't get much time to eat peacefully. Forgot to have soup 🍲 🙃 Indian veg starters weren't tasty. Oriental starters tofu etc were decent but nothing was hot. Salads, hummus and other cold dishes were delicious. But I didn't see any pita breads. Dahi bhalla was soft and yummy.
I don't get why they keep pork next to veg salads though? I wonder would they keep buff next to veg dishes? 🤔 If not, then should respect everyone's sentiments and keep non-veg aside.
I didn't like the main course much, took teeny-tiny portions of everything to taste. There were no noodles, no pulao or biryani for vegetarians, just plain rice. I had requested Pink Pasta with all the ingredients but only edamame was added. No spaghetti as well and I didn't like it the way it was prepared.
Even veg dosa wasn't available nor was 🍕 How disappointing that they didn't even bother to ask if roti's were needed for main course. 👎 Green Thai 🍛 was yum as expected. 👍 Veg spinach 🧀 Dumplings were good too but I was too full to relish them.
Lot of good options for desserts but what spoilt the mood was the server's attitude while serving, don't want to disclose their name here. First of all, they provided slivers of various cakes even though they knew buffet was about to close as it was time. They served as if they were doing a favor. They were rather indifferent when I asked them if a particular cake was eggless since there was no red or green sign on it.
Biscoff tart was superb, my favorite 👌 Dark 🍫 cake was fab. Mango phirni was not to my liking so was the pudding. Indian sweets were better in taste. But best was roasted-almond icecream, it stood out the most in the entire buffet. Coffee 🍦 was nice too. I would have liked to taste other flavors but there was no time, my bad.
I wanted to repeat a few desserts but it was closed and they were in such a rush. I got biscoff tarts which was given without gloves, my fault since section was closed already when I went.
For 🍫 cake they used some random knife from a pile up to cut a tiny sliver. Does no one realize in a 5- star restaurant that someone could be allergic to 🥚? 😕 I didn't eat those.
It was such an astonishing experience tbh 😆 I thought I probably had committed a crime by reaching so late to the counters. I was feeling guilty so I ended up apologizing to the last person I came across during billing for making them wait for us.
But nevertheless they ought to keep wet tissues to be provided to us after our meal since finger bowl could be an hassle. I got wet napkin which was so nice of the server. He was so courteous, helpful and wasn't cribbing at all for my so-called...
