Dada Boudi Restaurant — Restaurant in Puri

After hearing numerous positive reviews from people around the Sargadwar region, we decided to try out Dada Boudir Restaurant. Upon entering, the ambience struck us as fairly standard. The seating area was basic but had air conditioning, which provided a comfortable escape from the heat. Cleanliness was acceptable, but the decor was quite plain, making the setting functional but unremarkable.

We ordered one Chicken Thali and three Fish Thalis. Each Thali included baingan fry, aloo bhaji, a piece of lime and chili, rice, posto bora, and shukto. The shukto, however, did not match the traditional Bengali flavor, which was somewhat disappointing. The aloo posto and moong daal were also part of the Thali, with the moong daal being the only dish I found particularly enjoyable. The chicken in the Chicken Thali was fairly good. As for the Fish Thali, my companions noted that the fish was on the harder side and the curry tasted bland, lacking the expected vibrancy.

The meal concluded with chutney, papad, and rasgulla. These were okay but didn’t stand out. The service was reasonably efficient, with our food arriving after about 15 minutes, which is acceptable for a casual dining experience.

For a total bill of ₹820 for four people, the value felt lacking given the overall quality and flavor of the dishes. While the restaurant provided a comfortable air-conditioned environment and quick service, the food itself was quite disappointing. Overall, I would rate our experience at Dada Boudir Restaurant a 3 out of 5. It's a place that offers convenience but falls short of providing a memorable...

The restaurant is located at the end of RENUKA LANE near HOTEL SONALI in Swargadwar area of ​​Puri city.

People say that renuka gali has DADA BOUDI RESTAURANT. But PARTICULAR LOCATION cannot say.

It has this RESTAURANT in the UNDERGROUND of a newly constructed building.

The Bengali people discounted some of the clean, delicious food total bill. They say the behavior is good. That's why they come there again.

Worst resturant ever seen..having oriya Bengali discrimination..we went to resturant to have food we where sitting in desk for food once a Bengali family came for lunch ..the manager of restaurants asked us to get up from seat and adjust somewhere else ..Is it really good to misbehave with oriya people in Orissa that also in Puri becoz of Bengali people..I would never recommend to this restaurant to anyone..if orissa people will be misbehaved in Orissa then how other states people will respect orissa people..
