The view is good. That’s just all about it.

I placed my food and drinks order, the drinks arrived. I patiently waited for 45 minutes for food. Then I ask the server how long my food order (including appetisers) would take. To my utter shock he asks me, “have you placed an order??”!!

My order was just not sent to the kitchen. The people who occupied the tables after me had food on their table before I did.

Then again for ten minutes nobody gives me an explanation about what happened to my order. I again call a lady server and request to expedite my order. Then finally my appetisers arrived.

The main course arrived after some time. I had ordered one naan and one paratha, but got two parathas only. Finally ate quickly and left because I was terribly bored sitting there hungry. The whole point of bar/lounge is to spend time while eating and drinking stuff…

Also, I requested for house water. They didn’t deny but they didn’t bring either :) Thank you for unlocking another level of apathy.

Big name- small shop Extremely rude customer service. I was calling to make a reservation for an upcoming birthday while travelling to udaipur, the attending person did not seem interested in conveying any plan to accomodate the request. While i needed a reservation for monday, this managing person started his conversation assuming i need a weekend reservation and straight out denied me a place, not even conveying that i can consider walking in! And to top that, didn’t have the courtesy to confirm what day is the reservation a potential customer is looking for. In a city that marked by iconic hotels like taj, leela, and oberoi, these new town cafes think that opening a snooty, shiny place will make them win the race. Well this note is especially for the management of this place, there’s a reason those places are luxury, and keeping an attitude portraying you are pricey, wont get you in the league.
