You can not miss this gem on your trip to Udaipur. This shop is super old & has been running for 150 years. And they don't even need any fame or popularity because "Naam hi kafi hai". We tried everything mentioned on their menu- Kachori, Samosa, Bread bada, Pakore & the most selling snack "open Samosa". Their potato filling is the star ingredient because you won't get that taste anywhere in Udaipur. They serve their snack with Kadhi and green Chutney. We also had tea tea with our snacks which was equally good. Even though Roop Ji's shop is a bit small but they manage it well & maintain the hygiene level to their best. Last but not least, they treat you as their house guests, not customers & it makes a huge difference in serving. I would highly recommend this shop to everyone to witness how a person can achieve so much in life yet remain humble &...

I visited Roop Ji Nasta Centre after hearing a lot of hype online, but honestly, the experience was quite average. The taste was just okay and definitely overhyped by influencers.

The shop is very small, with space for hardly 5–6 people to sit at a time, and hygiene is a bit of a concern. It’s more of a quick street-side snack stop than a comfortable eatery.

Their most popular item, the “Masala Papad,” is actually nothing special — it’s basically a samosa or aloo masala served with khasta. You can try it once, but don’t go in with high expectations or you might be disappointed.

Overall, it’s an average place — fine for a casual visit if you’re nearby, but definitely not...

Its a hidden gem of Udaipur. Its in tiny lane were you have to go walking,in rikshaw or two wheeler. But its all worth it their unique item is Masal Papad served with aloo pyaz masala served with kadhi and dash of green chutney some call it open samosa(Big Khasta pakwan). But its a must try item.Even their kachoris are yummy. Its one of the best to visit in udaipur. The owner is very humble and down to earth. Its a no frills place but worth tasting the local delicacy. All other places like Paliwal kachori in youtube is over hyped It tastes salty and too much of hing taste if any one likes such taste they can try go for it. But I will recommend Roop Ji Nasta...
